Do you have a weight allowance with regard to wrestle off's?

Example:
106 weight class -- Monday wrestle off --max weight allowance
Will you let a 115 lb kids wrestle off for the 106 spot or do you require the wrestler to be within a certain allowance to be able to challenge?
Wrestler A barely weights 106 and wrestler B cuts hard to get to 106 but on Monday comes in weighing 9 lbs heavy. Is it fair for wrestler A to have to challenge wrestler B if he is a certain weight over?

Exclude these conditions:
Who is better is not a factor in this situation
Who deserves it is not a factor
Attitude and work ethic is not a factor

BASE the decision just on the weight FAIRNESS implication of having to wrestle off some one is significantly heavier.....

What is your weight allowance for wrestle offs?

Or share what you policy is if you have one for wrestle off weights.

Thanks

Depends on if your next meet is Wednesday. Some guys cut 8+ lbs. during the week. I wouldn't wrestle off more than 2 days before the meet (Thursday meet...wrestle off Tuesday, Saturday tourney...wrestle off Thursday). But I agree with scratch +5 guideline.
