I don't know the free agent pool but I think you're going to see a lot of these Western Conference stars defecting to the East because it's so weak and they will have a better chance at a ring. No guarantee the Cavs make it back. Plus, I would rely on Love or Kyrie. Both seem to have an issue staying healthy.
Maybe next offseason, but I don't think there is much in this current FA period, that can change the whole landscape of the East. If the cavs are healthy (big if obviously) there is no excuse to miss the finals.

Btw, lebron had 34 FGA and only 9 FTA. Green has 9 FGA and had 10 FTA. LOL

I agree with that but I figured after 2007 we'd see multiple trips to the Finals and it never came. Obviously the Cavs have a better roster but there are so many variables. On paper they would be the favorites, obviously.

No comparison between the 2 teams. These Cavs are a lot better. Plus no one in the east really matches up well with them. Chicago is the closest and Cleveland is better than them.

I think that's dumb obviously. I would only be interested in seeing how Lebron handles winning that award in a losing effort because I don't think he would be at all happy about it.

Lebron is fouled on 95% of his drives and he barely gets the calls. He needs to start pulling a Harden and flailing like a cry baby bitch every time he is even breathed on.

Cavs will be back next year. Book it.

I think Lebron has about 3 more years of being the top dog in the league and then he will start falling off. That's the window for a championship and there's no reason we won't get at least 1(probably more though).

The problem is they don't call it even when he falls to the floor.

I'm not even close to admitting defeat yet. Each team has won a game on the opposition's home court. GS took care of business in game 5 at home like we expected them to. And I expect Cleveland to take care of game 6 at home.

After that, it's one game for winner take all. And I'd much rather have the best player in the planet in that game than having home court advantage.

Anything can happen in game 7, we just have to make sure we take care of business in game 6.

Agreed. I've said it before, LeBron gets penalized for putting time and effort into the weight room. He's built his body up to where he often feels minimal effects when he gets hacked driving to the basket. However, it should be obvious that when the best player in the world is missing layups on multiple occasions, some calls should be made. Not to say that LeBron never misses around the basket, but certainly not a handful of times. One of the first things you learn as a basketball player is how to make a layup. I'd be curious to see a study on his "drives" during the playoffs (calls vs non-calls) as it compares to the fat slob Harden. I would venture to guess that Harden gets over twice the calls that LeBron gets for the same contact, he just doesn't flop and flail every time.

This. Not sure why everyone is crying like a bitch right now. Cavs are still in the series.

Sleeper, just shut up. "Cavs will win the NBA Finals. Book it." "Cavs in 5. Book it." "Cavs in 6. Book it."

You talking about Book It, the reading rewards system for elementary schools?

I don't think he'd be happy about losing the series but winning the MVP in the Finals would give him some retribution. He was supposedly pretty pissed that he finished 3rd in the regular season MVP voting. Either way, I think it would kind of suck to win an MVP in a losing cause.

I wouldn't even make future predictions. The NBA is far too subject to major roster moves. Dwight Howard became a monster in 2007, the Celtics created the Big 3 and Cleveland couldn't break through

Nothing will happen this offseason. 2017 could though. Until then, I'm confident in Cleveland.

How would this series look with a healthy Love and Irving, with Curry and Iguadala out for the year? Cleveland curse lives.

They wouldn't even play the series. Cavs would win in 4 games and Lebron wouldn't even have to play for the first 3.

I'm confident that Lebron James, in the NBA finals, can win game 6 at home. Game 7, NBA finals, anything can happen but I'd like to have the best player on the court on my team.

lol...broken record.

They are done. Not deep enough and flat out not good enough.

It's a surprise they even made it this far. It sucks for sure, but if I was a Cleveland fan I'd be feeling very optimistic about the future.

I think for Game 6, Blatt should play Movgoz the entire first quarter and run the offense primarily through him. The legs are fresh for the Cavs and they can guard the pick and roll better while buying minute for their other players. This will help us heavily in the 4th where we seem to lose our energy and I think Movgoz can at least make us break even at worst in the 1st.

I'd agree but they have virtually nothing left. They are gassed. I'm holding out hope for a miracle but I'm not expecting one. In fact, I'll be surprised if this goes back to Golden State for a 7th game.

they tried running the offense thru him in game 4. we saw how that worked.
