I just feel bad for all the people who lived and died before Christianity took hold. They're fucked; doomed to a hell they never knew existed because they didn't believe in a deity they didn't know existed at the time.
It's good for the American Indians that Europeans came over here to give them smallpox and slavery while taking their land, because even though it seems like they got the short end of the stick as far as short-term matters go, they learned about their immortal souls and how to achieve salvation, as opposed to their heathen ancestors, who lived in pure freedom with the land, but worshipped foxes and shit, and therefore were eternally damned.
