You take a lot of unnecessary ribbing & criticism on this site... but I have to disagree with you here; and this is even coming from a Colin Cowherd supporter. I listened to Colin's segment on Winston and how he thinks Winston is this highly intelligent kid & all of that... but I'm sorry, I just don't see it. Anyone who continually puts them self into the spotlight (e.g., stealing crab legs, jumping on a table in public & shouting 'F*ck her in her p*ssy') after having serious allegations brought against them (i.e., rape) is NOT a bright person, IMO. There's a difference between talking 'southern' & being intelligent vs talkin 'hood' & being a nitwit.
There's a reason why NFL scouts are starting to come out saying they want Winston to stay in school another year (
Scouts say Winston needs another year); and it's not because of anything on-the-field. It's because they're starting to see all childish antics and they don't think Winston is mature enough for the NFL game yet. Granted intelligence and maturity aren't a 1-to-1 relationship; but I do think they go hand-n-hand more than perhaps some think. Look at some of the smarter QBs in the NFL... Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson, Matt Ryan... no matter how hard I try, I could never see one of those guys shouting "F*ck her in her p*ssy".
