That's too bad. It seems like this tournament either works like clockwork or is a meltdown. Last year was great. Did they change the format again?

Did the group organizing/running this event change? Elgin HS wrestling program used to be involved, but I read that now it's a collaborative county effort?

Poorly ran tournament. Three years ago this tournament was ran so smoothly with few errors. Heard several coaches comment on how it was fairly smooth last year as well. I understand completely that it is not easy to run a tournament of this size, but c'mon. Worst part is; when questions were brought up as far as bout number, bracket, pool & many other issues, no one would hold any accountability, lost of pointing fingers & blame games. By the end of the tournament we had guys wrestling on one mat, & being called to another mat for their next round matches, it was like a college open tournament. Like 1 beast said; total mess.
