LOL, busted.

On a side note, it is good to see some Duck Dynasty sponsors (Under Armor and the truck suspension company) coming out to support Phil and the show.

Allowing these small groups to bully everyone the way they complain about people bullying them gives them too much power.

And logic dictates that using one's belief in a religious system based in faith (and loaded down with all sorts of human laws of the time) to determine what other people do as un-natural is an amazingly flawed way of thinking.

Yet one is happening, and not surprisingly (because it's ludicrous), the other isn't.

The stated motivation is clearly not true. To continue to assert it would be a lie. Last I checked, that's as much as sin as homosexual contact.

"Do you believe that someone who happens to love a person of the same sex is somehow on the same level as someone who has sex with animals?"

I don't know. Isn't that the point? 98% of men like women and like vagina. I have gay friends and I'm cool with it, but I have no idea why they would even think about [ ]. I don't. It might make me ignorant, but it doesn't make me a bigot IMO. Do you disagree?

You don't know that sex between two consenting adults is on a different plane than sex between a human being and an animal? Really?

To shift gears on this a little, given that this season of the show is the first to end with significantly lower ratings than the beginning, any chance this could be an intentional unintentional attention grab?

I have to say, I haven't had sex with an animal, nor sex with a man....so not my specialty.

I have never seen the show, but I support a company's right to hire/not hire/suspend/fire/etc. an employee if they do not feel that it is in the best interest of their company. I am just waiting for the huge double standard that will happen the next time that an employee is fired for supposedly being gay.

That the head of the family says he'd just as soon not do the show any more adds to the "don't give a crap" appeal that is part and parcel of the whole thing.
He acts no different than on any shows or videos they have done in the past

I agree with the first part of your post. But the last sentence doesn't make sense. This guy wasn't suspended because he's straight. So if an employee is fired for being gay, that would not equate to a double standard.

Thanks for that irrelevant yet fascinating story. Do you believe that someone who happens to love a person of the same sex is somehow on the same level as someone who has sex with animals? Do you think that the former has a legitimate beef with being lumped in with the latter?

Cue irrelevant personal experience story.
Are you dense or can't you read where IN THE SAME SENTENCE he compared it with someone who had sex with multiple women also? And then drunks, idolaters, and more?

Personally, I find it hard to differentiate between the concept of thinking a person is dumb/white trash due to what shows they watch on TV and the concept of thinking a person is a sinner because of what gender they sexually prefer.

Either way, you're pretty much failing at making a valid point. The only difference is that one way, you're failing by tossing in douchy comments that detract from any good point you might be trying to make and the other way, you're failing because you're taking a multi-thousand year old book at face value.

The key word is "acts". If it isn't obvious from watching this show for five minutes that every word of dialogue is scripted, I don't know what to tell you.

Believing homosexuality is a sin (or unnatural) is not ignorance. But mostly I'm tired of people bitching he compared it to beastiality when he didn't.
