5.5 per year. Seems it was probably mutual parting as he doesn't really fit the Pettine system.

I've i'm not mistaken, Revis has no guaranteed money in his contract, so if they trade for him, and he starts to QQ or play declines they can cut him with no penalty.

But if he's wanting to re do his deal with a big signing bonus he can kick rocks.

Glad with the Whitner signing and same with Dansby.

Wonder if we will do anything at the QB position and at the WR/RB positions or if those will be draft targets.

Have a friend in the Bucs organization who said browns and bucs are exploring a revis for Mack trade.

Do not take that as gospel, as I hate people who say "I have a friend..." And start some bs rumor. So take it FWIW, just thought it was interesting to throw out there.

If the Browns dont have Mack, I'd look for them to draft Martin, kid out of USC, in the 2nd round of this draft.

I had heard that earlier. Could be just the same rumor getting passed around though.

Grab a center in the draft. Like COA said, Martin would be a nice get. Or maybe there is someone else out there in FA they can target?

Bengals cut Kyle Cook, not sure how good he is though.

But agree, would be easy to replace Mack, at half the cost.

Saw the Bears cut Peppers, and Miles Austin cut from the Cowboys.

I like the Hawkins deal, money isn't too crazy, so I think the Bengals match, but Mike Brown is cheap.

Lol, that was pretty a pretty embarrassing effort from #1.

Question for you guys: I think it's pretty apparent we want another young ILB. Anyone else think Shazier at 26 would be a good move?

Shazier isn't built to play in the middle, so probably not.

Though a Chris Borland might be a target, heard something about Arthur Moats as well.

He must have one hell of an agent.

I'm a little bit leery about giving $14 million guaranteed to a 32 year old LB, regardless of how good he was last year. Hopefully his body holds up for another 2-3 years.
