There is like no buzz or excitement around this team or tonight's game now that everyone knows Johnny has been relegated to clip board status.

This team would be exceptionally boring without him, and we'd be talking about when the Cavs start at this point.

Pettine has about as much excitement/charisma as a wet blanket and has sucked the life out of the fan base with his presence. Listen to sports talk radio in this city since Johnny was exiled and you can tell how apathetic the fan base has become.

Now we are left going through the motions waiting for Johnny to come in and save the season once Pettine realizes about Hoyer what everyone else except him already knows.

Maybe he has felt such a strong attachment to him because like Hoyer, we were the only team in the NFL considering him for a head position. The other 31 teams knew Pettine was a bum, so maybe that is why he feels such a connection to Hoyer. They share that experience.

Jimmy is probably having buyers remorse already on Pettine as he is beginning to realize what we already know. I am just happy to see other media outlets now picking up on the fact he is in way over his head and has no business being an NFL head coach.

This is why they should have canned Joe Banner first, because the people willing to sign on with him in the building at the time was limited to the dregs of the NFL that knew no team would ever hire them. Without Joe Banner around we might have had a chance to get an NFL level talent at head coach.

What a dumb list.

I would say there is no way Marvin Lewis, Mike Tomlin or John Harbaugh will be fired.

Cincy has shown they are happy with Lewis and will stick with him thru the bad.
Pittsburgh will give Tomlin more then enough chances before firing him.
Harbaugh is 1 season removed from from winning the Super Bowl.

Harbaugh has to win though, cause he doesnt get along with anyone above him, nor a lot of the players.

Tomlin was rumored on the hot seat last year. If they are bad again, I think he is canned.

Pettine has no shot of being fired this year, imo. No way Browns go back to back with coaches unless they go like 2-14.

We hired the defensive version of Pat Shurmur.

Rode the family name and Rex Ryan's playcalls all the way into the Browns starting job.

It's disgusting. The scary part is they apparently actually game planned this week and they just march down the field like it's nothing.

The Browns defense was horrible last week as well. Never forced a punt in the first half and gave up and unreal number of yards for a preseason game. I think they will get a lot better though.

Hoyer looks like a deer in the headlights right now. He's not mobile, and has yet to throw anything beyond a 5 yard checkdown pass. He's a bum.

Hoyer lookin ready so far. LOL. Joe Thomas got beat like a drum but John football would have avoided that and would still be running. Looking for Hoyer to post another big fat goose egg this half.

This offense is hopeless without Gordon out there. And this preseason has gone as poorly as it possibly could have. Cannot end soon enough.
