Anyone else hoping that Johnny plays like a stud tomorrow night to stick it to Pettine for rigging the QB competition in Hoyer's favor?

I'm hoping they both play like studs. I just want a good QB that puts TD's on the board. I'm not worried about who starts the first week....when was the last time the Browns made it thru a whole season with 1 QB?....I think you may have to go back to Couch. The past few years we are signuing guys off the practice squads just to fill the postion. Hopefully the O-line upgrade will kepp them healthy back there.

I don't want Maverick flying the plane and killing Goose until he understands how it works, until then, I'll be content with Viper at the controls until Maverick is up to speed and knows the playbook and how quick and different the NFL is from the SEC.

At this point I think it is a forgone conclusion that Hoyer is starting game one unless he has a meltdown and is just horrible the rest of the preseason. Manziel isnt getting enough reps in practice, especially for a rookie, to be able to take the reigns in week 1. The longer Pettine splits the snaps to decide a starter the slower the offense will start the season.
The Browns can beat the steelers in week one if they follow the template alot of other teams have and that is to throw early, throw alot, and run alot of quick passes to keep the pressure out of the backfield.
