Right now, he's getting all of the hoopla (although he seems to have stayed off Instagram/out of the media for 2 weekends in a row) while Hoyer is just keeping his head down and going at this competition in workmanlike fashion.

Manziel, as the starter, would be good for the national attention but I couldn't care which one of them starts as long as they win.

SOme QB's have a way of elevating an offense and team and I think JM does this. It has def rejuvenated the fan base and will do the offense as well.

Just too bad for them that the other piece of the puzzle that was already in place will be suspended.

JM will be able to improvise and create plays. The biggest question mark will be his durability and if he tries to run often or keep his eyes down field and throw the ball. If he can scramble and makes plays vertically then this offense will be very good, well...if they still had Gordon.

Will be interesting to see teh QB battle. YOu know JM will make a number of fantastic plays in training camp with his legs and will wow the crowd but I also think he makes a number of bonehead rookie mistakes. If Hoyer can produce more consistently he could win the job.
