This is essentially the same thing ESPN's Ed Werder reported Tuesday evening. Glazer added that the Texans' demands are on a "sliding scale," which means the further they have to move back, the more the team trading up will have to surrender. The only thing I could see would be Atlanta moving from #6 (1600) to #1 (3000). Add in the second this year (530), third (250) and next year's #1 (~1000).

I'm more entertained he's willing to trade away every one of your pick's for a QB that's automatically going to the pro bowl next year. There isn't even a definite consensus he's the best QB in this draft. Footwedge reminds me of a drunk college kid playing Madden at 4AM in the morning.

Anyways, thank God the draft is today. The other day ESPN was doing their mock draft 6.0 lol

The numbers they showed you reflect a different value in picks from different teams/positions. Do you really not understand how the value system of draft picks works?

We're not getting #1 for #26 and #35. They've asked for 3 first rounders lol.

give me me what pick you are referring too. We don't have a pick worth another 1700 points to make up the difference in the trade and a 2nd rd pick for next year is only worth a 3rd this year so that wouldn't even be close.

you are getting closer but still not close. That would get us to giving Houston 1700 PTs when the #1 overall is worth 3000. Keep going.

To move up to 1 it would take 4, 26, and 35 which ruins your pipe dream of two top 5 picks and is a dumb trade on the Breowns side.

Next years #1 isn't worth 1000. They always downgrade next years picks by a round. So next years 1 is worth this years 2nd round.

I think if we stick at #4 it'd be offensive line. I liked Peter King's idea of trading to #6 with Atlanta and grabbing Mike Evans. Then depending on how the QB's are going ideally I'd like a CB at #26 and QB at #35 but if there's a run on QB's I realize we may have to trade up to get who I think the Browns want and that's Teddy Bridgewater.

There's so much uncertainty this year and I don't think I'll be disappointed any way we go as long as it's not like Mangini who traded from top 10 to the late first round. That's probably the only thing that I'd dislike.

I thought it would be worth near 1500 so is listed it as ~1000.

Next year's 1 is worth no more than 500ish as that is the top end of this year's 2nd round.

Sources tell the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel that the NFL is giving "serious consideration" to pushing the draft back even further toward mid-May in 2015.

Commissioner Roger Goodell has heard the loud complaints about this year's lull between free agency and the draft, but he's undeterred. The extra time has led to extra coverage, which could very well lead to higher ratings Thursday night. "There have been some real pluses, and we'll have to evaluate that," Goodell said. "A number of our coaches have praised it, too, because it gave them a chance to spend time with their current players and make some determinations about what's the right place to go in the draft. So there's some real value to it."
