Reggie Jackson had like 31 last game I think? They have plenty of weapons and role players. That's the problem when your two best players think offense first(score) and second. Ibaka only gets 10 shots. They have to find a way to get those other guys involved and give them a chance to help out offensively or they are going home.

I was pretty high on Scott Brooks a few years ago but this guy has been given the keys to a lamborghini and they have gotten worse each year.

Jackson had 1 good game, and shot 2-7 this game so its not like he stayed hot and they didnt feed him. Ibaka got 10 shots, maybe he should get a few more, but only 4-5 tops ? Perkins has zero offensive ability, Thabo played like 10 minutes, same with Fisher. Butler had 10 shot attempts in 30 minutes off the bench which isnt bad.

So really aside from maybe a few more shots for Jackson and a few for Ibaka its not like they exactly have much to choose from. They dont have a team of great offensive role players. 3 of their role players(Perkins, Thabo and Ibaka are defensive role players)

And the oppositions point guard lead his team in shots too.

Id say in a playoff game you want Durant to get at least 20 and Westbrook not far behind. We will call it 45 combined. then throw in they were in full comeback mode and it went OT...not surprised at all, and dont think its terrible to get 55.

Ordinary circumstances, maybe a little much lol

Derek Fisher and Caron Butler with Serge are definitely great role players. I don't know why they aren't giving Jeremy Lamb some run, he was playing pretty well earlier in the season. They have absolutely zero balance, 55 shots is way too many for those two, especially when they aren't good shots. Scott Brooks even said we need better shots, well your stars have to get you those. Thabo can make shots too but hard to get anything going in 10 minutes. Their stars only know and think score and that's why they are about to get bounced in the first round. Have to seriously look at the make up of the team if that happens.

I'd say 40-45 is fine, as long as they are largely good looks. But these guys have no concept of time and/or shot selection and it shows. They should be playing in the finals and they are going to go home in round 1.

I agree with their selection. They take terrible shots. End of the game though, Scott Brooks does no favors. Im not even sure he draws anything up. I think he just says "get it in-bounds...whoever catches it, shoot it!!!"

Yeah I talked about that earlier, people were very high on him a few years ago. He has been given the keys to this lamborghini and they have gotten worse each year basically. They go home in this round there may be changes made.

Still can't believe so many people laughed at me when I said that the Cavs should have signed Mike Miller. He could have helped them tremendously even at 20-25 minutes a game.

Durant shooting 40% from the field and 28% from the line this series/playoffs, will he get a pass?

Yes, he will. He won't from me though. He's soft. He has all of the skill in world but he doesn't have it in him when it comes to the playoffs.

Who laughed at you? Also Miller didn't do a whole lot during the regular season, 7 pts. I'll still take Deng over him and don't think Miller would have helped the Cavs, esp with his extensive injury history list.

Just because Mike MIller is able to help a veteran Memphis team in the playoffs doesn't mean he would have been a good pickup for a bad Cavs team. Come on rob

They didn't have Deng at that time, I made the suggestion that they should sign him and start him at the 3. Most people thought that was stupid but the floor spacing that he provides is invaluable and would of helped Kyrie tremendously imo. He shot 46% from 3 and is also a very good rebounder for his position and always has been. Instead they were stuck with Alonzo Gee who shouldn't even be a rotational player in the league.

They acquired those two mid season, I was referring to before the season started.

You could see into the future and know that a guy who can't stay healthy for his career would have stayed healthy and helped the cavs? Wow

No but even him injured would be better than Alonzo Gee(at the time) at the 3. You can't leave him on the floor and that opens things up for guys like Kyrie and Dion. I mean it doesn't matter now though.

Jamal Crawford won 6th man of the year again, well deserved.

May have the best handles/cross-over in the NBA currently, and is a hell of a shooter
