All holding out on wild card picks!

This is a cat and mouse game because I guarantee you all of us probably have a few similar players. I have two guys, who I have to get one of them. Just not sure how long to hold out and not take either...
Ive got 4. Pretty indifferent on all of them lol. I'm sure they are all the same.

I have a list of 6, but 2 are going to absolutely tear it up, could lead my team in points I think.

I'm a little upset I didn't wait on a wild card. Most guys now will be in the 20-25 range, so if you can get a 30+ point guy now it would be huge. I just saw some stuff on Elfrid Payton and panicked that he would be taken before I got him, but some of the guys I've seen left are studs too.

Nice pick with Harrell. I would've taken him next round had he gotten back to me. They're expecting a monster year from him.

I am paying the price for not getting a center early.

Cady Lalanne, C, UMass

Anybody ever watch him play?

Saw him play last year while following Chaz Williams, but don't really recall Lalanne specifically, other than that he was a big guy in the post (I know, great analysis, right?) He was on my list of centers to get, though. Good rebounder and shot blocker, and, based on last year's numbers, should have a chance at scoring double figures.

As Lee Corso would say.....

:)

Leaning on my pick and another guy. I think the other guy will get taken before my next pick so I won't get both.

My pick: Olivier Hanlan, Boston College

Hanlan has the potential to steal the show as the best sophomore in the league this season, and as one of its best players period. Kid dropped 41 in an ACC game as a freshman. He is a fine player. It goes without saying that you, once again, have fucked me over.

Great pick.

I had him as the 8th best guard remaining based solely on last year's stats, but I think he may have more potential for improvement than anyone above him, and even the guy that's first on that list is only ahead by 1.9 points overall.

Once he got on my radar a few rounds ago, I thought you would eventually pick him if I kept passing him up since you watch the ACC moreso than most in the draft.

Yep. It was Hanlan's potential to make that step forward to becoming great as a second-year player that had him at the top of my list of guards remaining. The guy I ended up taking -- Drew Crawford -- is also based more on the potential of a healthy season. Under a more uptempo and open attack with Chris Collins at the helm of Northwestern, a healthy Crawford is closer to a 30-point guy than the 25 or so he was last year.

We'll see.

Also, Goon, artful pick getting a 33-point guy, and leading returning scorer in the Big Ten, this late (I believe that's what D.J. Newbill calculated out to be). Nice.

There's a wild card pick out there, who I'm almost certain he's going to get around 40 PPG, maybe more. Wondering if Mulva is going to snag his here.

Even Crawford's numbers from the year before were closer to 28-29. I think he could very well be over 30.
