Yeah, Giants and Dolphins are especially shocking as they're at home against teams at or below their level.
The Texans are miles ahead of the Dolphins in talent, so you are way off base with that comment.
While this is true, the Dolphins took Houston's best punch and responded well. Houston pretty much folded once Miami started clicking. I'm not defending my Phins at all. A loss is a loss, but IMO a bad team gets down 27-0 and loses 45-0 a good team can claw back in it. This loss showed me something to be hopeful for in the coming years. 2 great drafts and some quality Upper Management has really turned Miami around.
As for your comment that the only position that Miami could start in Houston would be RB. Miami's back 4 on defense are as good (and I'll say their much better) than anyone Houston fields with the exception of Robinson.
I said before the season that Miami was a 6-10 team and I'm pretty close (assuming they lose to Pittsburgh sunday). The thing that dissapoints me most in the Dolphins is the fact that they can't seem to put a whole game together.
They got down 27-0 to the Texans then came back to make it a game then lost.
They got down 24-6 to the Titans then came back to force OT and then lost.
They got down 14-0 to the Pats then came back to win.
They were leading the Bills 14-7, then gave up 24 pts in the 4th to lose.
They were leading the Panthers 14-3 in the fourth and won a shoutout 24-17.
They got up 19-6 on Tampa then let them come back and make it a 2 pt finish.
They got up 24-10 on the Saints then got the doors blown off in the 2nd half.
They got down 19-0 against the Falcons then went on to lose.
This team is not good enough to take a quarter off and their record shows it.
