Cavs coming off smacking around the Lakers finishing a Western Conference road trip going 3-1. The Rockets are coming off a beating against Orlando.

An interesting side note:
-Cavs are seeking a PF who can shoot the ball. They are throwing out Z's expiring contract (hopefully buy out, did not say) and the Cavs are also open to trading JJ Hickson.

How long till Mr. Lame gets on here and claims he is a Cavs fan and will say that Cleveland is going all the way this year with their big win last night.

I'll be at the game, as well as the Browns game earlier in the day. The Cavs have been known to be pretty rusty coming off the West Coast trips, and it doesn't help matters that the Rockets have been a thorn in their side the last few years. Hoping for the best but in all honesty wouldn't be too shocked with a loss. Let's hope for some theatrics similar to the last time I was at the Q:

108-83 Cavs. Moon with the play of the night off an alleyoop from Mo. Didn't watch much of it, but the Cavs looked good after traveling back from the west coast yesterday. Nice win

Some of you have no faith and the cavs are looking better and better each and every game. Z is finally looking like the Z of old. He now seems comfortable coming off the bench which is huge. Boobie has had his minutes cut due to West but with all these guards what are you going to do.

Nice win Cavs.

I'd rather have too many guards than not enough (See the Lakers this season)...

Yes, Devil, the Cavs said Z must be agreed to be bought out for a trade and JJ is being shopped.

Jawad Williams also spent time on the bench and did not score

Their guards played out of their asses last season. The law of averages has caught up to them this year.

Instead of getting offended by me actually dissecting a weakness of LA, prove me wrong?

JVG and the crew said the same thing.

I also don't think Ron Artest fits well with the Lakers, not like Ariza did.

How can you make that assessment 1/3 of the way into the regular season? Ariza didn't really do anything until the 3rd round of the Playoffs last year. The Lakers are giving up fewer points than last year and have a better record at this point in the season than last year.

No doubt the Lakers are the team to beat, but they are very thin in terms of depth and I agree that Artest is not a great fit.

And are 1-0 against the Cavs like last year too right?

They have the same depth they had last year when they won it all.

Yeah, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they have enough for this year. I think they need to add some guard help.....Morrisons contract should be enough to get something to help out with the bench.

Great point the Lakers were also 0-2 vs the Bobcats last year with Ariza, I guess we will see if the addition of Artest can change that huh?

Lakers record is inflated so far....have played twice as many home games as road games. Cavs might nail down the overall #1 before it's all said and done.
