The AAU Junior Olympic Central Qualifier for Team Ohio is this Saturday at Delaware Hayes High School. This is a freestyle event. Winners of the Elite division earn an automatic spot on Team Ohio's squad which will compete in the AAU JO Games in Detroit, MI July 28-August 2. Team Ohio will take 4 complete teams to the JOs where competitors wrestle in a week-long dual format tournament (most wrestlers get in 16-20 matches against top-notch national competition). There is a 4-day mini-camp leading up to the games. Competitors in the qualifier will need an AAU membership card (obtain this online at www.aausports.org). Weigh ins and registration are from 7:30-9:00am on Saturday. Elite weights are 98, 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 182, 195, 220, and 285.

1. Weigh ins and registration are at Hayes HS from 7:30am-9am on Saturday.
2. AAU Membership is $14-$16 and obtained online at www.aausports.org. Click on Membership. Bring membership number with you to registration.
3. Spectators are free.
4. If you make Team Ohio and compete in the JOs, there is only ONE WEIGH IN for the whole week of competition.
5. Saturday's qualifier and the JO Games are both freestyle.
