Whetstone will be holding a Camp the first week of June Either June 4th-June 5th or both. This Camp will have as many D2 D3 schools from Ohio as Possiable. This is being done to help expose kids and schools to eachother and to bring other influances for colleges into central Ohio. In NE Ohio there are basically 6-8 colleges that have wrestling programs. Central Ohio only has OSU and nothing against OSU but looking at such a discrepancy we wonder why central Ohio struggles so much. Many cetral Ohio kids have the ablitiy to wrestle on the next level I feel but When looking around on Ohio teams you dont see many Central District kids compaired to other areas around the state.

D2- Ashland, Findly, Tiffin, Lake Erie
D3- Baldwin Walace, Heildburg, Muskingum, Mt. Union, Ohio Northern, Mt. St. Joesph, Case Western, John Carroll
NAIA- Notre Dame

I was just talking with someone recenlty and this subject came up. We need Capital and Ohio Dominican to be viable options for our kids. Currently, they are not. If one would like to add Otterbein to the list, let's do it.
