As a result of the Gusan Incident (as it came to be known) The following rules changes take effect this weekend.

1. Points will no longer be awarded for takedowns or pins. All throws will result in DQ.
* It is not in the best interest of the sport to allow wrestlers who train year round to "take advantage" of wrestlers of a lesser skill set or ability.

2. First year wrestlers will be awarded 4 points prior to the start of each match because they are part of the team.
* 2 additional points will be awarded to first year wrestlers if their Mother deems their wrestling attire to be more "sporty" than their opponents.

3. Match winners will be determined by fans, coaches and parents. The wrestler who feels "best about himself" after six min. on the mat will be the winner. The officials seem to get it wrong anyway.

4. Aggressive behavior on the mat is not allowed.


5. Travis Gusan will be banned from the sport for life. His hard work and dedication to the sport of wrestling makes it really hard for kids who dont put in the effort to be successful.

He's just ranting and keeping a subject from another thread going that happened a year ago. Its all in good fun, I get it, but let it go. This has gotten way out of.hand.

That was the point of this thread....Celebrate 100 plus wins for Gusan, to the parents and fans who want to bash him put your kid on the bowling team, they get way more press coverage than Central Ohio Wrestlers.
