This was a pretty good column about potential reasons why Smith fell. Less of him being a bitch and more about him being in that "thinks he knows it all" mindset where I think teams were worried about if he'd be hard to coach.

I think the most telling comment in the column was the one along the lines of (quite paraphrased) him wanting to be a leader and a great player, but in reality, not knowing what it takes to be those things.

I'm starting to see why Buffalo took EJ Manuel. I was also impressed when I first saw him speak on ESPN. He really did seem to "get it" and handled himself well in front of the camera. I don't know how this will translate on the field, but first impression he appeared mature and collected when compared to a lot of the rookies you see.

Me too I'm a moronic sucker for this type of thing. Why would you ever smack talk Vick on something like that unless you are Darrell Green. Early NFL Vick made very fast NFL players look like kindergarteners trying to catch the physically gifted 5th grader in freeze tag.

BR...you can say all you want about Geno not being good....but he's better than ANYTHING the Browns have on the roster right now at QB

Weeden will get us to the playoffs next year. Coaching matters in the NFL, and we finally have that.

Ray Horton is the only good coach on the staff. He should have been hired as the HC

I'll remember that statement about Weeden when we're in the Top 5 drafting(hopefully,but with this front office probably not) Teddy Bridgewater

Also lol'd. Norv and Chud are both good offensive coaches. Obviously have no idea how Chud will do as a head coach but they both know offense.

No, we are all saying we would rather have Weeden at QB than Geno. Geno will most likely not be a successful starting QB in the NFL. I am not a huge Weeden fan, however if he came out in Geno and EJ's class, Weeden would have been the first QB picked in the draft.

I think weeden will be average to slightly above average. I hope he does come out and light it up this year cause I would love to use our first rounder next year on Louis nix. He's going to be a stud in the nfl
