lol exactly. Cribbs has played under 3 head coaches. If he was good enough to make a legit impact as a role other than KR, you would think one of those 3 coaching staffs would have figured it out by now. Also, even as KR Cribbs has lost a step. I hope the Steelers over pay for him, that would be great.

just being on the browns makes you look at least 30% shi**ier than you actually are. tim couch was probably a hof qb if he wasnt praying for his life every time he dropped back. if the browns drafted tom brady he probably would have lasted two years in the league

Diminished skills, lost his burst...the one time his replacement, Travis Benjamin, touched a ball on a punt return, he took it to the house.

Appreciate what Cribbs did while he was here but he's a shell of his former self. Would love to keep him around, at a deep discount, to cover on specials but I don't want him touching the ball on punts/kickoffs. He leaves too many yards on the field.

LOL @ this comment. The Browns may suck in many areas but they are usually one of the top special teams', unlike Pittsburgh, in the league....Cribbs isn't doing it himself.

Exactly, this isn't 2007. Cribbs isn't breaking for TD on his own. Also with the rule changes on kickoff, it makes Cribbs even less valuable.

Benjamin is a better option at punt returner, IMO.

As a kick returner? Nobody was from 2005-2008. After 2008, he honestly kept the KR/PR slot based on reputation.

Def wasn't the consenus best LT in football. Must be someone else.

Unless you're thinking of his first couple of games this season, which he was playing with knee injuries. He's one tough MFer, just like Alex Mack. Alex Mack played 7 days after an apendectomy.
