Also, we still need a GM. Apologize to Shurmur and bring him on?
Funny you would mention this but I had heard rumors on Sirius XM about Shurmur joining Cincinnati to work with Andy Dalton. God, we can only hope.

I'm with you..I really don't want him in Cleveland.

Just saying the Russell thing was sort of bad luck. Everything he's said/done in the last year hasn't been proven to be wrong yet.

Can't wait to see when we draft Forrest Gump out of the Georgia Institute of Finger Painting to be our outside linebacker with our 1st rounder because he's the new "mad dog in a meat market." (Lombardi didn't say that, BTW)

Can't wait to see that little Napolean Complex midget, Banner spin this at his press conference on why it was a "good hire."

Josh Gordon tweets: @JOSH_GORDONXII “@AdamSchefter: Browns hired Michael Lombardi as GM.” Uh oh.. Am I in trouble??

We hope. Lombardi might trade him for a long snapper.

Punter, we need a punter. Either trade Gordon for one or use that first round pick

I'm fine with the chud hire. Loved the Norv hire. But they had to go and fucking hire that clown. This is going to be our most important draft in years(only a couple players away from being good) and we have this fucking loser running it.

Being "besties" with Belichick, I could see Lombardi getting butt raped in a trade for Ryan Mallett.

I was joking. I don't want Lombardi anywhere NEAR the QB decisions on this team. Same guy who loved Jamarcus Russell (as mentioned), Blaine Gabbert & Mark Sanchez.

A Ray Horton hire redeems this slightly. Announce it soon and give fans a positive to talk about

Joe Banner is a fucking snake oil salesman to have convinced Haslam that Mike Lombardi was truly the best GM candidate his money could buy.

That hire is all about Joe Banner protecting his little kingdom Haslam has allowed him to build.

Lombardi is so happy just to be back in the league I bet he agreed to a contract that doesn't give him ultimate say over the roster, which is exactly what Joe Banner wanted all along.

This. Hiring Lombardi gives Banner complete control.

Jerry Jones + Hobbit - 60 points from IQ score = Joe Banner

Don't forget that he lambasted the Weeden pick. Bad news for a lot of people.
