BR have you forgotten that Lewis had TWO 1000 yard seasons running behind JT? How about Peyton Hillis' 1000 yard season? Hell T rich was 50 yards away from 1000 yards before hurting himself. Based on how shitty both Hillis and T rich are, I think it is pretty remarkable that both had that many rushing yards. He might not be the best run blocker in the NFL, but he is still pretty damn good, and far from as bad as you are trying to make him sound. Just stop. JT is the best LT in the league.

Also, you are completely reaching with the article of JT discussing RB's. He just said what is on everyone elses mind. RB's are dime a dozen. No where is he making an excuse for his team's performance.

Jason Campbell throwing the ball 56 times is NOT going to win you games. When you have 1st & goal from the two and can't punch it in with the run, you have a problem. Regardless of all of the JT "chest pounding" around here, he's part of that problem.
Not many teams running off the tackle in goalline situations... Especially with slow running backs.

Joe Thomas sucks. On goal line situations there is no reason he shouldn't be able to blow up the D tackle along with the LB and Safety standing right behind him.

Thomas doesn't suck and I know Rotinaj's post was in jest but the way that JT's been built up into "Superman" status, you'd think those feats Rotinaj described would be commonplace, right?

LOL we aren't saying he is superman, but he is one of the best lineman in the league. I don't give a fuck if he isn't an elite run blocker. When we have run to his side in previous years(not mcgahee) we have had success. That's all that matters when it comes to a lineman who was drafted to pass protect. Stop nitpicking what we are saying and just enjoy the fact he is on OUR line, not anyone else's in the division.

Or the simple fact that no one who is a fan of either the Steelers or the Browns wants to talk about the game on a thread you start. And since another thread was started, yours became obsolete and unnecessary.

Your thread essentially was an unwanted fetus that got aborted before it reached the whatever trimester. Sorry.

When they are inside the 5, and can't seem to run the ball, why not put Greg Little in the backfield? He's not bringing all that much to the table as a WR.

BROWNS HADEN HAS MATURED INTO ELITE NFL CORNER - Browns cornerback Joe Haden has settled down, and in doing so, elevated his game.

Haden credits his marriage last summer to his longtime girlfriend, Sarah, for making him a better person and... player. Haden says he has grown up and is focused on "just football now, all football."

In his fourth season, Haden has moved himself into a class with the NFL's top defensive backs. Last week, he intercepted two passes, returning one for a touchdown while holding Cincinnati star wide receiver A.J. Green to just two catches for 7 yards.

Haden has a laminated map of Hawaiian Islands taped to his locker, motivation to make his first Pro Bowl.

Haden said a four-game suspension last year for using Adderrall prompted a change in his lifestyle and led to his metamorphosis. (Photo: John Kuntz/The Cleveland Plain Dealer)

He's no Rod Woodson or Dion Sanders. Lacks the explosive game changing plays. I prefer an Emmitt Thomas type. /BR :RpS_flapper:

Actually, I'd PREFER a "game changer" like Andra Davis with his mad/Veikune-like skills. :(

Comparing Andra Davis, a 9 yr starter for 3 teams, leading the league in tackles to a fucking bum who never played a single regular season down is a fail.

Draft the QB they feel will be good; have him sit behind Hoyer for one season. Start him 2nd season.

Apparently, the guy doing that mock thinks Carr is that QB. Not so sure myself but I'm not really sure who I like of this group. I don't see any "can't misses" and I sure as Hell don't like Bridgewater. And if they select a QB high enough, that guy is most likely your starter in the second half of the 2014 season. Doubt he sits a full year.

That's fine with me (your last part). Just don't want the guy thrown to the wolves week 1.
