Please DO explain why. He shouldn't be putting himself in these situations. Whether he does something, or not, he's still opening himself up to a lot of scrutiny.

Meh, I have to disagree here. He has a history of being a dumb fuck and getting into shit he shouldn't be. I am not saying he shouldn't live his life, but he def should be a lot smarter about his recreational time and who he surrounds himself with. Nothing wrong with BR saying "make smart decisions." He better fucking make smart decisions at that party, or we all will be talking about how we wish we traded him.

In addition to what I just said, it's case by case with a player. Josh Gordon has a history of being a dumb fuck. Let's say someone like Tj Ward hosts this party (I am Ward, because he is black, and no one can call me out for using a white guy). No one is going to be concerned about it because he doesn't have a history of getting himself into shit he shouldn't be in.

Exactly. I don't care if this is Joe Haden, Phil Taylor, Ward, Billy Winn, etc hosting this but Gordon, on the other hand, has a history of immature dumbfuckery and doesn't need to expose himself to "situations." Now one would think he'd be smart enough not to do anything considering a slip up could end his career but it's Josh Gordon we're talking about. Not the brightest crayon in the box when it comes to sound decisions.

Well the comparison went way over your head I see. Point I'm making, is you can't expect Gordon not to live his life because he's one strike away. You can't say 'don't go to clubs' because there's a chance he may get in trouble. Just like you wouldn't tell someone not to drive because they are one speeding ticket away from a suspended license.

The comparison didn't go over my head. I got it the first time before you tried to explain it. The comparison is invalid. Josh Gordon isn't one speeding ticket away from a year long, and possibly career ending, suspension for speeding tickets. He is for a failed drug test.

I can see that point. I just don't agree with telling him not to throw a party. If he fucks up and does some drugs, he doesn't deserve a spot on the browns. But don't position him like he's 12 years old.

Do you guys not get how those things work?? It's just some promoter who knows Josh or someone in his entourage who OK'd using Josh to promote the event and he'll probably make an appearance or stay for a while but it's not going to be any different than any other time he goes out to a club.

So you bashing him is basically saying he shouldn't be going to any club, any time. To that, I say you're absurd.
