Disagree. Heckert never tried to sign Phil. Per jay feely, Dawson wanted to retire a brown. Turns out they didn't cut an Oline today, they put Pinkston on the temporary reserve list. Im glad they invested in talent that produced all of 1 TD last season (Bess). Should of kept Dawson, even for the price.
