Only thing I can criticize is the organizations concern for a "fan experience." Nothing greater to me than tailgating in the muni lot an easing to the stadium to watch the Browns play. The passion makes it the best and most underrated fan experience in the NFL IMO. If they want to improve te fan experience.... start winning. Pretty simple.
I didn't read the article but I agree with the premise that they can compete quickly. Heckert set the table for these guys with young talent, that played A LOT last year, and a ton of cap space. These guys, if not SUSPENDED, should hit their stride this year. With the addition of an outstanding coaching staff (see NO Pat Shurmur offense), they should be much improved.
It's really all going to depend on the QB play. Weeden HAS to step up because, of the three, he has the most potential upside. Campbell is what he is and Hoyer is a backup at best. If Weeden doesn't step up, it's going to be another somewhat miserable season and we'll be looking for another QB next year.
