I feel the same. Its one of those picks where I wont think its the best, but I wont be livid because I think he will be a solid NFL player and give the Browns good on field production. It fills a need and all that.

But Id rather Warmack after a trade. Thats the dream scenario for me.

I will quit watching football if we draft ANOTHER QB in the 1st round. I don't think I could stand another busted draft...

After all the BS you've been through as a Browns fan, drafting a failQB would break the camel's back? I dont want Geno AT ALL, but least he has the physical skills to play the position. Something Brady/McCoy never had. Least there's a shot there.

Your reason for Milliner.."at least he will help on the field"

How would Austin not give us a playmaker?

Plenty of depth at the CB position. Use the 2nd/3rd rounder on the CB/OG position.

No I don't. Dont think he can stay on the field. Dude is a shrimp. Also a situational player only, dont need Reggie Bush.

I just dont like taking a 5'8 WR that high (assuming we trade down only to like 11/12). Thats really high for a guy who will probably end up in the slot.

CB is about as deep as I can remember, and I would love for Trufont or someone to fall to us in the 2nd (if they can aquire a 2nd) and take one. But even so, I want defense or an OG in the 1st.

I'm just tired of drafting a QB EVERY YEAR. You would think that we could hit on one of them at some point... then again, look at the recent Cleveland brass. Sometimes I hate being a die hard Cleveland fan.

#Browns seriously considering a trade for Dolphins WR Davone Bess, according to a league source. Several teams in the mix.

Wouldn't be a bad signing. Bess is pretty solid

*edit* I just noticed it said trade. Depends what we would give up. I'd take him for a 6th or 7th rd pick

Just watched a war room with Bill Polian, Mangini and McShay......Polian playing the part of Banner/Lombardi

1 Chiefs- Joeckel
2 Jags- Fisher
3 Raiders- Floyd
4 Eagles-L Johnson
5 Lions- Ansah
6 Browns on the clock and Polian says TE Eifert, OG Cooper and OT Fluker are our top picks. Polian receives call from the Jets and trades pick #6 to them for pick #9 and #72. Jets pick D. Jordan
Browns get Eifert at #9.............SMH.

It would be trade. We don't need another slow slot WR. He'd be a 4th in our offense I'm guessing.

In the 3 WR set ups, I'd rather have Gordon and Benjamin on the outside with Little in the slot doing the banging. Rather keep a guy like Norwood on the roster who has some game breaking speed. Haven't even brought up Nelson yet, who may be our Slot guy as well. Dont get the point of Bess

Fluker? This is why Polian's draft record was what it was the last decade before he got canned.

Bess would be dumb, unless there is more to it (we are trading another WR for picks or something).

Like COA said, whats the point?

I like how active we've been in free agency, but this is just dumb.

That's stupid. Eifert would not be on the Browns list before Jordan or Mingo. Also, I bet Fisher goes first pick.

All depends what they would give up for Bess. Its hard to justify not wanting him because we have guys who had a whopping 18 and 13 receptions last year.

Davone Bess - WR - Dolphins

Sources tell Draft Insider Tony Pauline there's a "99.9 percent" chance Davone Bess is traded to the Browns for "mid-round picks."

If the Fins could get "picks" for Bess, it would be a huge victory. The 27-year-old doesn't have a role in Miami after the Brandon Gibson and Mike Wallace additions. In Cleveland, Bess would likely compete with David Nelson for slot duties. He has one year left on his contract. Per the Miami Herald, the Dolphins called the Jets, 49ers, Cardinals, Vikings, and Rams to gauge their interest in Bess.
