If skrine is our starting number 2 corner, I will punch lombardi in the nuts.

Ben Watson signed a 3 year deal with the Saints today. He has to be a happy guy.

Why would Cleveland let him go?

I guess that should prove that their interest in Fred Davis is real. I know they also have shown some interest in Kellen Davis; however, that is a much less intriguing FA IMO.

Barnidge is expected to fill the role that Alex Smith had, so they are still looking for a pass catching TE.

Just seems like you would want to re-sign him.

I do, but I think he still has some developing to do.

Agree with this. He has the athleticism. If anyone can develop him, it should be Chud.

I except him to be decent. Pretty easy to see that Patty is an idiot and wouldn't know how to use his weapons properly on offense even if Bill Walsh was telling him what to do.

That being said, I dont expect top 10 TE production or anything out of him. 700 yrs or so this season shouldn't be out of the realm of posibility.

I would have liked to keep Watson but maybe this puts Ertz on the table in the second round. I see Ertz being another Gronkowski type of TE.

You're right we don't have one. Maybe we can get one via a trade. I don't want to sell the barn to get a top TE though. I just want the Browns to have a winning football season.

Wouldn't mind the Browns going after Michael Huff to fill the FS need.

Chris Mortensen ‏@mortreport Teams interested in Matt Hasselbeck: AZ, Buff, Chi, Cin, Cleve, Indy, NO, NYG, SF & Tampa,...and list could grow.

I just want to pick up a CB in FA so we don't blow a first round pick on one.

Evidently, Hasselbeck is close to a 2 year deal with the Colts. I would've liked to sign him simply to mentor our 29 year old QB. And, I thought he would be a capable backup. Looks like the Colts beat us to the punch.

I'm getting tired of us sitting on our hands all the time when there are needs to be met and players available to meet those needs. *cough* Huff, Grimes, Alexander, Davis *cough*
