Of COURSE it was coming. Has any QB every had a BAD pro day? LOL....they shine these turds to look like they are superhuman. I remember Kyle Boller throwing a football from his knees through the goal posts from the 50 yard line. Pretty sure JaFatAss Russell lit it up at his too. Rex Grossman, etc, etc. Now good QB's have also had excellent pro days but that's far from a barometer on whether their draft stock should jump.

Oh I definitely don't want to trade up.for him. Simply if he's there at 6 it wouldn't be a bad pick. I want others over him, but id be a lot more pissed if we took millner than Smith.

And what I meant by the "I knew this was coming" was I knew the top QB wouldn't fall to us at 6, as usually by the time pro days and combines roll around everyone is cheesing over someone and he shoots up the board.

Scott Wright ‏@DraftCountdown #Dolphins have two 2nd Rounders. #12 + #42 would get Miami up to #6 (#Browns) for Oklahoma OT Lane Johnson or Alabama CB Dee Milliner.

No way in hell should they trade up to get Smith. I wouldn't even draft him if he was there at #6. I think they should trade down if possible and get a 2nd round pick. They still need depth and have more holes to fill. Hopefully they aren't finished with FA.

Why not ask for both of the Dolphins 2nd rounders? That way we can give Manuel and a safety in the 2nd.

I really like Tyler Wilson. If it weren't for some injuries this year, he would probably be a 1st rounder.

I like Wilson too. I think if it wasn't for the head injuries he would be a high pick. But pro days should not indicate if you rocket up the board or not.
