Anyone want to take a stab at this... Top 5-10 for each weight class in Central OH?

I hope someone else does!

I tried. Only got about three schools in and realized... I have NO CLUE what weight these kids are going!!! Moreover, to think I know someone else's line-up is crazy! Heck... I DON'T EVEN KNOW MINE!!!!!!!!!

What is today, Friday??? I'm losing my mind!!!

...

Hopefully, over the next three weeks, my D-I grid will get filled up with rosters, in order that after the Christmas tournaments, an "Inside The Circle" volume 1, Issue 2 can be put out.

Coaches have been asked to keep maticulous stats in order to give area leaders (all divisions) for wins, pins, takedowns and sets of near-falls (NF2, NF3, NF3 = 3 sets).

So the next edition will see (at least) D-I rankings for teams and individuals, along with area (all divisions) leaders in the given categories.

Here's hoping everything goes according to plan!!!

Nice... I would just like to see some sort of who's who in Central OH. I know there is some talent out here and they rarely get mentioned being overshadowed by the North (We can deal with that issue come post-season)

We could certainly start with the All-Star Meet roster. The only issue with that is some kids might not end up at the weight they wrestled for that meet. But at least it's a start.

"What's that sign say?"

"No bare feet."

"No, what's it say THERE?"

"No fighting."

And there you have it, Central Ohio's finest. No fighting on the mat or off, so says Caddy Master Lou Loomis. Tony D'Anunzio didn't listen to Lou and neither did Carl Lipbaum (who allegedly choked on his own vomit) to open up the much-sought-after caddy scholarship.

Carry on, gentlemen. Carry on.

And my personal favorite:

"License to kill gophers by the government of the United Nations. Man, free to kill gophers at will. To kill, you must know your enemy, and in this case my enemy is a varmint. And a varmint will never quit - ever. They're like the Viet Cong - Varmint Cong. So you have to fall back on superior intelligence and superior firepower. And that's all she wrote." - Carl Spackler

He may be. Last I heard was a return on 1/1/13. Brecksville would be possible but highly unlikely.

Also, Sparks' (M) recent win over Screptock is big to me. I'm not saying he can beat the guys listed ahead of him here, but I am saying that I think a stride has been made. Screptock majored him last year at the state tournament on his way to placing 7th. True, it may have been a down match for Screptock, but that kid is legit.

ps: Nice win, Sparks!

I would add Morgan Miller- Marysville in the 220 mix. I talked to Rahmani on Saturday and he is looking at coming back for Brecksville, if all goes well.

Lybarger from Mt Vernon is at 195? Is that why he didn't wrestle at 182 at the All-Star Meet?

You may throw Marysville's Alex Roberts in the mix at 170. I know his record wasn't incredible last year, but Marysville went to some extremely tough tournaments - the kid's pretty tough and was worthy of his All-Star Nomination. I beleive he went 2-2 at Districts. Not sure why he didn't wrestle at the All-Star meet either - perhaps he coudln't make weight.

Would love to see someone take a stab at D2!
