Our two choices were to pull out of Iraq and let this kind of thing fill the vacuum or to stay there indefinitely. We should have never invaded a sovereign country in the first place. I appreciate Obama getting us out of there. Those that got us involved in that country in the first place are criminal.

Can't change history. What do you tell the families of the 4500 soldiers that gave all in Iraq? Their lives, honor and bravery mean zilch? Barry quit. No exit strategy... just plain quit for political purposes.

Hmmm, we have a theme. Barry quit on the VA, quit enforcing border security, is quitting in Afghanistan, and quit on the Americans begging for help in Benghazi. He's not much of a Commander In Chief, now is he?

You don't completely pull out. You reduce it to an operational force. So that the shit that's happening now wouldn't happen.

The U.S. Department of Labor is moving forward with plans to raise the minimum wage at federally contracted companies, marking a historic victory for protesting low-wage workers. On Thursday, Labor Secretary Thomas Perez unveiled a proposed rule to lift the wage floor to $10.10 per hour, potentially hiking the pay of up to 200,000 employees of federal contractors. Yet the step forward has not satisfied the workers’ organization Good Jobs Nation, which is now demanding the right to collectively bargain with their employers.
The Dear Leader has used his powers to unilaterally raise the minimum wage for everyone that contracts with the U.S government.

Union wages are often pegged to that, so it is a major gift to them as they will all now be demanding raises.

Companies can't complain though, because when you get into bed with government you have to learn to live with the fleas.

Aren't they telling them to stop sending kids up here? I could have sworn I heard that on the news.

You don't continue to put young soldiers in harm's way just to justify the deaths of those that have gone before. It's horrible that 4500 service members and tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis died because of lies and incompetence. You don't extend our commitment there (i.e. more deaths) to somehow make that right though.

Can someone explain why this idiot hasn't been impeached yet (aside that Biden would take over)? We have real problems, like our economy and foreign policy and he's pulling a "Gore" and crying about climate change?

Who are the morons that voted for this guy?

1. 47% of the genuine electorate who would vote Democrat even if an ameba won the party nomination.
2. A few million bogus votes from the great state of Mexico.
3. Tens of thousands of dead Democrats.
4. Millions of de facto votes from those who worshipped Ron Paul.
5. A few million fence riders who simply wanted to be part of history by electing our country's first black POTUS.
6. A couple of million college chicks who thought Barry was soooooooo cool and kinda cute. Tee hee!

What we really need is for a TEA Party candidate to run as a Dem, basically say "I"m fiscally conservative and socially progressive"...then all hell would break loose.

How about who gives a crap?

Gender inequality in income: fictitious
Sexual assault on campus: fictitious
Gay rights: what else do you want? A cookie? You stick you junk in another guy's junk, that doesn't make you special.

gosh a ruddies, thank you for your contribution to the gender gap. Who gives a crap, women and gays.
And gee wilikers, sexual assaults do happen on campus and gays are asking for basic human rights.

Question
Was sexual assault on campus an issue in any of the political campaigns?

That's my point. The original intent of the TEA Party was mostly fiscal conservatism, smaller govt and liberty issues - much closer to Libertarian ideals (but not socially progressive because they are running as Repubs, after all). That some opportunists tried to attach to or hijack the party to gain votes doesn't change the core principals.

RINO's are probably even more threatened by the TEA Party than Dems, which is why both sides are trying to portray the TEA Party as financial terrorists and religious nuts. And that's effective with the low information crowd.

They have them, and have had them.

The marriage "benefits" are not basic human rights. It is an increasingly antiquated notion that goes back to the days of stay-at-home moms. It's even less of an issue with Obamakare.

I agree with others that the govt shouldn't even be in the marriage business. When you remove the insurance question, what's left is easily solved with simple assignment of property rights and a living will.

gosh a ruddies the Supreme Court considers it a basic right. And gays are in the process of winning that right.

Mexican gang members part of the new influx of illegals. Our borders are being crushed just as is Iraq.

Will obama completely destroy the USA, or will there be something left in 2016?
Not if great heroes and patriots - great men of liberty and justice like you and Hannity and Superman - have anything to say about it. Please keep using this HS sports forum to educate us on these matters.

And also, to bring your point home, please end every post with "Change we can believe in..." so that through your sarcasm, we can sense your disgust.
