In going far into the new state dual tournament system? Obviously Marysville should do very well, returning 9 dqs 5 of whom were state qualifiers, along with 2011 qualifier 195 Miller who missed the season due to injury. Anyone else?

I think the best way to figure would be by predicting who are the best teams in each OCC Division. I can help get the convo going... (I believe that these are the correct changes)
OCC – OHIO
Gahanna
Grove City
Groveport
Lancaster
Newark
Pickerington Central
Pickerington North
Reynoldsburg
It looks like Lancaster has the most fire power and depth, but PC and PN have proven that they can compete. It will be interesting to see if Lancaster lands in the Central Region or if they are shipped South.
I could see Reynoldsburg, Grove City, and Gahanna battling it out for the next spots. Many exciting duals in this Division.
OCC – CAPITAL
Big Walnut
Delaware
Franklin Heights
Mount Vernon
New Albany
Olentangy
Orange
Watkins Memorial
This Division looks to be a three horse race, especially in a Dual Meet format. I think Orange, Olentangy, and Mount Vernon are just a little deeper than the rest. Recent history has shown that Olentangy should be favored, but with a new staff, who knows?
Orange has really built a program that kids flock to and Mount Vernon is one of the best coached teams every year. If one of the other teams catches Mount Vernon early they may have a better chance; should be exciting.
Also, look out for Delaware… They will be young, so they might be a year or two away. I do not know enough about BW to comment; sorry.
OCC – CENTRAL
Central Crossing
Coffman
Davidson
Marysville
Liberty
Thomas
Upper Arlington
Westland
This Division looks grueling and will benefit all teams as they move forward toward the post-season. The early favorite has to be Marysville… They are very deep and have some huge point scorers.
Coffman, Davidson, and Liberty will not just lie down though… These programs have solid history and great coaches. These duals will be worth the price of admission.
I think the next team in line is UA. They have some talent, but this Division may be too much right now.
OCC – CARDINAL
Jerome
Scioto
Bradley
Darby
Westerville Central
Westerville North
Westerville South
Kilbourne
I have some invested interest in this Division, so I will leave this one to everyone else.
So, some of the teams that could make a run: Marysville, Lancaster, the Pickeringtons, Mt. Vernon, Orange, Davidson, Liberty, Coffman, Westerville North, Bradley, and Kilbourne. But, you never know how it is going to shake out, just fun to talk about.

Excellent write-up, Ozzie. It's nice to read your confirmation of my choice.
ps: cheap move on the Cardinal!!! In instances such as, I also resort to - and encourage you to do the same here - Groveport Madison. Good on ya, mate.

It will be interesting to see how OHSAA breaks down theregional assignments. I would think thatsince we have 4 districts each district could be split in half to make up the 8different regions.
