Larry Bird wins NBA Executive of the Year.

I assume he is the first to ever be: NBA MVP; NBA COY; NBA Executive of the Year.

Such as incorrectly pointing out that I made ONE comment, which I guess to you clearly means "pages of name calling". You're right, it's really not a hard concept to understand that one post is not pages of name calling. No lives were lost by calling skyhook ****hook.
Fail on you, dude. "Regularly descending into pages of name-calling" is a statement that doesn't specifically mention one instance (such as you calling Skyhook "****hook", but more of a general thing for all the times something completely blows up due to one thing or another. Just some examples off the top of my head:

1. Last year's Pens thread where Rock regularly lost his shit because he was SO easy to bait, until no one could even talk hockey because all it took were certain people getting on the thread (regardless of whether trolling was actually going on) because he'd flip out the second he saw certain names.

2. ANY Notre Dame thread. Hopefully no explanation necessary on that one.

3. The various high school FB threads concerning public vs private that wound up in the basement because they turned into about a half-dozen or so people constantly attacking each other after 100 pages or so of realizing they weren't changing each others' minds.

I'd guess you'd call this a preemptive strike that hopefully ensures this doesn't turn into those. Because those make life miserable.

I dont understand what the big deal is really. It is still very possible to argue with people (even heated arguments/discussion) and discuss opinions without getting personal or changing posts/handles. I, as well as many others, do it regularly.

Thanks. I figured as much. Can also add Finals MVP and Gold Medalist. I think the only thing he is really missing is an NCAA Championship cause of Magic. But taking Indiana State to the title game might be better than winning one at Indiana with Coach Knight (had he stayed) lol.

This thread/my post have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with any of those situations. If you want to punish actual trolling (like what you mention with ND, the public vs private thing) then you need to just delete the offending posts AND give a warning. But if you're going to do that, you need to have an actual threshold to determine the validity of your actions instead of some arbitrary and subjective interpretation of "personal attack"

I'm sorry, and if you disagree then there's nothing I can do about it, but calling Skyhook f***hook is not trolling that speaks to any of the situations you're trying to prevent. It's not a personal attack by any reasonable definition. Unnecessary? Absolutely. Worthy of being deleted/warned about? Not. At. All.

That's it? I was expecting something worth reading. Just "irritated"?

I recall D. Rose saying he didn't like how Indy celebrated after a regular season W.

Exactly. After "not five, not six, not seven...", they have no room to gripe about anyone celebrating.

Good point, guess I'm surprised that it hasnt even been talked about. It was the same type of hit that the dude from N.O put on Griffin and he got 2 games

Right. Had it been reversed and Wade been hit, it would have been at least a game.

dude, it's their website. If they want to clean it up as they see fit, then they will do that. If you don't like it, then leave. Shut the fuck up already and don't call him failhook. Problem solved.
