I won't root for the heat but I love watching lebron play. I as well used to travel from Lancaster to Akron a few times a season to watch him in hs. Never missed a state title game and always went to the play by play classic games in cbus. Plus the lebron vs Carmelo game. I hate what he did to my cavs, but I'm over it and still enjoy watching him play.

Heat were getting every damn call last night. The flagrant on Psycho T was a joke and then the "retaliation" was even worse. That should have a F2 IMO. No excuse for the Pacers not being to hit open looks and uncontested lay ups.

If I was good at computer shit, I would definitely put up the video of the scene at the end of The Titanic where the guys in the boat are like "is there anyone alive out there? Hello?!" Is there anyone out there"

And just voice over that with "Are there any real Heat fans out there? Hello? Are you out there?"

It'd get a million hits for sure

The same ones who are supporting the Heat now, backed the Cavs while LeBron was playing here. It's the sign of weakness. You can't support a loser and jump from winning team to winning team because it's "cool" to support a winner.

I know a guy who was a Portland fan back when they had Sheed and that good ass team... Now he's a Heat "fan" and also "supports" the Knicks since they have Melo.

We don't take him seriously when discussing sports and get on him all the time.
We have those here, and we also have people who did everything to make it clear they were against LeBron and the Cavs during that era, but now all of a sudden ride LeBron's nuts (Jordo and Lotz come to mind). It's quite comical.

I would enjoy watching Lebron play if he didn't leave Cleveland the way he did. That said, I use to like Wade & the Heat until Lebron joined him the way he did. Now I hate everyone.

In other news, there's a headline on ESPN saying Jerry Sloan is eyeing the Bobcats position. Lol, good luck with that one.

I've been a Miami fan for a long time, years before they won their championship. My dad was never big into basketball, so I never had a certain team playing in the living room. I played basketball, but I mimicked all superstars, didn't know shit about their teams like most young kids. I got a little older and started to actually understand the game of basketball-- and at that time Alonzo Mourning was in every fucking stack of cards I bought so I started liking him with the Heat. I rarely ever saw them on tv as a younger kid, but once the internet got big I started following them. It picked up big when the likes of Butler and Odom came because I watched them in college, then Wade came and Shaq, and the other guys left. Good enough?

TH's foul was a good hard one that didn't seem to have a vicious intent, more so an old school leave a bruise foul. Now-a-days, it was a good F1 foul. I called it out that UD was going to get his, I've seen it one too many time in 9 years. UD's was certainly in response to TH's, but I'm borderline if it's worthy of a suspension. I certainly wouldn't be upset if he gets a game, or had he been ejected. It's not as bad as I originally thought. He gets shoulder with one arm and face with another. Personally, and it's alright if it's viewed as bias because it just might be, but I would have called it F1. When I look back at some F2's (Bynum, Pittman), his isn't that bad. Now Pittman, that's a very easy call. It definitely warrants a suspension of at least 3 games. His intent was as vicious as Metta's, but he doesn't have the record of him either. I'd probably give him 5 games.

haha I saw the clip of that interview this morning on SC. He is a weird dude. I think he means well for the most part off the court, but is just a nut job when he's playing.

NBA all defense team is a joke. It's basically just another way to give stars some credit.

Lebron James being on 1st team, let alone the #1 overall vote getter for first team all defense is an absolute joke

He plays SPOT defense against other teams stars, and spends most of his time guarding someone relatively weak off ball so he can play help D(which hes pretty good at).

Also, I think Shump is a better defender at the guard position than Kobe but thats just my opinion since i watched a lot of NYK this year since they seemed to be on national tv every other game down the stretch

The All-NBA defense teams never make any sense. They are just resume padders for the superstars of the league.

Psycho T had his 1 upgraded to a 2, not suspended.

Haslem was suspended for game 6. And Pittman suspended 3 games.
