We have made several major changes in tournament operations to accommodate the large number of wrestlers, reduce the general chaos, and make sure we start on time.

We WILL use six mats! Last year we were supposed to have six but ended up with only five.

Staggered start times! The three younger divisions (6 & under, 7 & 8, 9 & 10) will start at 9:30, the older kids (11 & 12 and junior high) will start at noon.

We will use staging for the matches to keep the tournament flowing and keep all of the mats busy.

You may find the tournament flyer and a link to the on-line registration form at http://www.CardingtonWrestling.com.

Coaches may weigh in your pre-registered wrestlers at your site and E-mail weights to [email protected].

Because of the way the matches will be staged, you will NOT be able to enter more than one bracket - EXCEPT that a 9 or 10 year old wrestler may wrestle a bracket in his age group (morning session) and in the 11 & 12 age group (afternoon session).

Sorry, I haven't had time to log on for a while, since I'm also running the MOAC tournament next week and a D3 Sectional. However, just to update, in addition to all the local kids who are coming, I have received commitments from several out of town clubs who will do weigh-ins next week at their own sites.

This will again be well attended. It will also be better run and better organized than it was the last couple of years thanks to the changes made by the MOAC coaches, who will be doing all of the work the day of the tournament.
