Cole has been doing this since he first suited up at practice. Wade called him a more prepared option at pg than he was as a rookie. Nice start for Miami.

The Jazz won't win 15 games this year. Wow, they are bad.

Thought the same thing as I watched this game. Milsap, Jefferson, Favors and Kanter should carry this team but their backcourt is really weak. I think they made a big mistake with the Williams trade. Harris is NOT a franchise PG and Favors plays the same position as two other high priced guys. Need to make some moves to make this team halfway decent.

He had an opportunity to win the game with the ball in his hands, and per normal he missed the shot. Only time we ever see Kobe on SportsCenter is the 20% of the time he makes it, not the 80% that he misses.

I still don't understand why they would take Kantar. They are loaded at the 4/5 position but have nothing else.

No one has made more game winners since 2001 than Kobe Bryant. Kobe doesn't need a Norris Cole to step up in the 4th like your boy Lebron does.

No one has taken more game winners than Kobe either, even if your statistic(which can be spun anyway you want) is correct.

Has anyone had 1/2 the attempts at game winners than Kobe?

Not sure how anyone can honestly try to take from any of Kobe's career. The guy was the best NBA player for multiple years, a top 3 NBA player for 10+ years and a top 5-7 player for 15 years. Earned all-star starter 13X, 5 NBA Championships and closing in on 30,000 points. Bashing anything on the court just makes you look ignorant. I don't even like him, but it's not difficult to appreciate how great he has been for a decade and a half.

Great. None of that is relevant to the point that he's a shell of his former self. Thanks for playing.

Either we completely disagree on what "a shell of his former self" means or your argument sucks.

Let me know.

He's played what, 3 games? He's also their only option.

Kobe Bryant is the greatest chucker in NBA history. He shoot a lot, and therefore he scores a lot. I'm not impressed.

You said he was a shell of his former self. What were you basing that on?

He's played 3 games in 3 nights and his numbers are right at what he does.

He is showing no signs of a guy that won't score 22+ ppg....not sure of your shell criteria. I can't even think of a player that is a shell....maybe Vince Carter.

Whatever the case, you are trying to knock a guy that has never been anything but great since age 20....can't say I understand. Maybe you can list all the players in NBA history that have been a top 5 player for 12+ years.

Give any NBA player a prime Shaq and a prime Gasol, and full control over shooting the ball and we could have an entire league full of Kobe Bryant's. He's overrated.

Ridiculous generalization.

I'd love to go back to those times and replace Kobe with Desagna Diop

Me too. We'd have less Laker fans that's for sure.
