“Doormat” was not Jesus’ style, nor the style of his followers in New Testament times. He and they were compassionate, and they were non-violent, but they were not doormat quality. In fact, “turn the other cheek,” thoughtfully understood, actually encourages subversive, even dangerously subversive behavior."

I just watched a little bit of the Bobcats game, for the Lulz and boy did it deliver. Getting blown out by the Wiz.

This is the worst team ever.

The fact that the punishment hasn't been handed out yet just means its going to be lengthy. Stern is probably meeting with the players union tomorrow to recommend a 20 game + suspension or indefinite suspension(likely a ban of some sort).

It's been one day. I'd say it will be Wednesday when it comes out. The Lakers don't play til Thursday, so it's not like waiting is going to allow him to play.

It was either espn or nbatv that was saying the league will want to speak with both players, the officials, and team officials. Then they'll look at prior cases like this along with artest's history before making a decision. I'm also wondering if they are waiting to see if Harden will be out for any games, guessing that'd add to the severity of one.

Typically punishments come out the next day.

It's going to be huge, I guarantee it(deservedly so too, Artest needs to be done).

LJ that GIF is hilarious.

Also does anyone think the Bobcats won't end up with the worst record percentage wise ever? I watched a little bit of that game last night and it was just terrible. I seriously think this is the one time I might not easily go "No way that a college team could beat an NBA team" I honestly wouldn't know who to pick if this Bobcats team played Kentucky.

I'd still take the Bobcats by 20.

It's pretty apparent they aren't even trying anymore. I hope they don't get the #1 pick.

Bobcats still.

Not only are they stronger and quicker through being in the NBA. But even at the college level they had more All-Americans than UK did.

He stole it from 2quick4u. Not surprising though since his Dad probably ran the NBA at one point in his life or his family owned the Lakers before the Buss's did.
