I see threads on Central District Division I and III Polls - I know the Columbus Dispatch puts these polls out each week, but have the darndest time finding them online.

If I google I get links to polls a year old. If I search the Dispatch site I get the same.

How do I check the updated polls each week?

Appreciate any help I can get on this.

Thanks!

The Big Walnut Coach has taken over the duties this season for compiling the D2 info. I don't think the initial poll has been released yet. I'm sure it will be out soon. The BW coach posts on here......I believe his user name is huntergreen

Each of the 3 polls is independent of the other......last year you could view all the wrestling info on the Dispatch sports blog......but unfortunately as far as I can determine, that is no longer the case

Ask and ye shall receive. But for the record, they have been e-mailed to the Dispatch 2 weeks in a row but yet to be published. I am sure there are many mistakes and some kids are not yet to their "projected" weights, but this is what got for now. They will become a bit more clear once the holiday tournaments are wrestled.

It is what it is.......lose Olentangy, Hilliard Bradley, Canal Winchester and Bishop Hartley at the same time....teams that probably held down half of the spots last season.....

The opportunity is there for young lesser-known wrestlers to really make their mark. Who wants it most? Who will become next year's recognizable names?

2 returning state placers, 6 returning state qualifiers, an addititional 7 district placers, not counting the district qualifiers. D2 lost some strong teams, but please don't discount the accomplishments of these yung men and their teams. This list will continue to produce some solid individuals and teams.

True....and just because some of the names aren't recognizable (yet) doesn't mean there aren't some future "studs" lurking there.

If Schembri can get back on track to what he was becoming over at Gahanna Lincoln, I think he may be able to pass up schenz and straight. I watched him take Mickley who went 1-2 at state to the brink in the go to match.

Did Alexander just pin Schembri recently.....or am I mixed up and thinking of someone else?

Yes, Alexander just pinned Schembri. They will not be in the same weight class at the end of the year.

From what I hear, Schenz is at 160 right now. - He will meet up with Legace tomorrow night a the Big Walnut Quad - BW vs Licking Valley / West Jeff Vs DeSales in Round 1.

Nothing against you upset_125 but I'd bet half of them wouldn't recognize your name either.... But we do! You made wrestling in Bexely(sp) known in central ohio again. Hope your college career is going great!!!! ...

Good luck to you:)

Why only 2 at 182? Was that just a mistake?

I think Brian Ray deserves consideration at D2 182 after his recent win over Zang.
