I agree with this. However, passing attack is not all on the QB. It is so bad because the line can't block, the WR can't run routes and barely catch, and the play calls are horrible. Hard to pass successfully when your offensive coordinator puts you in third and long most of the time. Today's loss was a Bollman Special all around. In the first half, it was perhaps his worst called game of the year (that takes some doing). Also, the depth on the OL is atrocious, and OSU had to start a true freshman at RT today because of Bollman's inept recruiting style that leaves few options if someone gets hurt.
Now, you've got a defense that can tee off on your QB because of the play calls, a line that can't block because of no depth, and you wonder why receivers aren't available to catch the ball most of the time?
This team has had some hard luck with injuries that are now killing it, but lack of preparedness and predictability don't put the players we have in a position to succeed, either.
And that's all on the coaches.
I will stand and applaud when this staff is fired at the end of the year.

yeah the biggest reason Fickell will remain is that they are running out of coaches. Who becomes the head coach after Fickell during the bowl game? Heacock? The few times that Ohio State has run play action on first down, Miller has been able to do nothing. So how exactly is it the offensive coordinator's fault?
