I know they read this and I have tons of respect for the guys there, but I want to read about players and coaches and matchups, not what us dolts have to say....mostly anonymously.

The comment pulled from July was typical fashion for Dorksen...he wants nothing more than for Norwayne to beat Orrville. That fine!

You guys know darn well if they had posted a similar comment from Norwayne, you'd be laughing it up and applauding him publicizing the "outlandish" thoughts of a Bobcat fan.

I'm really glad Davis was able to get back on the field and not only be part of the team, but play and PRODUCE! Kudos to him and his medical advisor(s)/doctor(s) for helping him make the most of this part of his life!

Agree. Well, there are a few Norwayne souls. But outside of Creston, I don't think there are many.

That is scary. With some healthy kids and a few offensive adjustments that seem to be paying off, Orrville might be peaking at the right time, something which could spell disaster for their opponents.

I was thinking the same thing (although Orrville & Norwayne fans alike are both guilty of making more of this game, in addition to "the media"). This is a big week 12 playoff game between two very, very good teams that both deserve to be here. To put so much on this game, fans saying it's a "lose-lose" and saying they'd be "embarrassed" to lose it is an injustice to both teams. Again, both deserve to be here. A close win or close loss is NOT an embarrassment to either team, no matter who wins. I really liked DaVault's quote in The Daily Record:
"It's not fair to put everything on the one game," Davault said. "It's not a true indication of either program.
"We're going to find out if we're evenly matched, or how far apart we are this year. But to take this game and say, 'This is how the WCAL compares to Orrville every year for 30 years,' that's not fair."
Let's approach this game for what it is - a great venue for Wayne County as a whole to prove there are multiple good/great teams in our area that can play at a high level. Good luck to both teams Saturday. I cannot wait!
