Not sure if it has been discussed earlier in the thread, and I'm certainly not going to go through and read it all, but Michigan's uniforms were some of the best I've seen in a long time. I loved the stitched M on the front and the numbers on the helmet. I did not like Notre Dame's helmets, however.

1. Kelly isn't wrong, but I wouldn't have said it. Sounds too much like an excuse.
2. It doesn't surprise me that Toledo played OSU close. Toledo is good.
3. Toledo could beat Notre Dame.
4. Notre Dame could beat Toledo.
5. Toledo could beat Michigan.
6. Michigan could beat Toledo.
7. Toledo beat Michigan when they had a 3-9 season. Not really comparable to beating any of the aforementioned teams today.
8. Toledo sucked when they beat Michigan. Not really comparable to beating any of the aforementioned teams today.
9. Denard Robinson did not have a good game. He threw too many jump balls. Luckily the receivers played well and bailed him out. I expect Denard to improve as the season goes. He can throw, he's done it before. But that game had no rhythm. The play calling was mystical.
10. ND would be 2-0 if they'd quit turning the ball over.

Holy shit.....Agreed!

And while I pointed out Toledo's results from last year, I'm not saying you are wrong...I just don't understand on what you're basing the opinion that they are suddenly a "good" team (not just a "good MAC team") if it isn't on how they performed against OSU. I mean, I get that they return a lot of people or whatever, but those people didn't do very well outside the MAC last year. Admittedly, I know little about them, so I'm curious why you have this hunch about them (other than the pretty good game they played on Saturday).
I believe a combination of gaining a year in experience mixed in with Beckman being in his 3rd season as head coach and finally getting the program in the right direction is what makes me believe Toledo will be very good this season. Toledo playing OSU (albeit a down OSU) so closely only solidifies my belief that they are good. I'm not saying they will be BCS bound, just that they are as good as any of the teams we've mentioned on this thread.

Also, I believe Toledo COULD pull a huge upset this weekend if the stars align and they play the game of their lives. Otherwise BSU wins, but it won't be like last season.

I loved ND's jerseys but thought there helmets looked cheap. It would like Alabama putting a stupid elephant on their current helmets. They just didn't look right

ND's jerseys were tight.

UMs were good too, but nothing special imo. I really liked NDs

I thought Notre Dame's were much cooler than Michigan's. But an opinion is just an opinion.

I thought both uniforms were outstanding, and I loved that they followed through with the cheerleader uniforms and the officials hat. The whole night and atmosphere was spectacular. Luckily the ending was good too. ;)

The green logo on the gold helmet just doesn't look good to me. The colors look terrible together. The jerseys were sweet, take the shamrock off the helmet and they'd be pretty close to Michigan's. The Michigan jerseys were fantastic.

The colors look better together in this picture. I just didn't like the modern version. The gold and green were both too light, IMO.

I thought the giant "M" looked like a cheerleaders sweater and the shamrock helmets looked like they'd been stuck on after a really bad St. Paddys Day give away. Nowhere near as cool as Buckeye's retro look last year.
