The Browns have better safeties. Hall/Clements is a better combo because of Sheldon Brown, IMO.

Both of these teams are BAD!! I expected a better showing from the Browns, but it just seems as if they had been talked up by the media, without actually being any better. They have to do something with the line or we'll only have Colt or a few games.

Sheldon Brown was abused today. He needs to be replaced.

Not even sure about that. TJ Ward looked like an overrated POS today.

The Bengals are going to be very solid against the run and I think that is the Browns biggest strength. If the Bengals establish a run game, force McCoy to beat them, and don't screw up bad in the kicking game, this will be a battle into the fourth.

20-17 Bengals
I think I was fairly close with my prediction. The Bengals go on the road and get a win with their backup quarterback. I couldn't be happier. I understand that they are stilling looking at 4-6 wins, but this one feels real good.

Just got back from the game....what a stinker...lol

If this isn't the two worst teams in the NFL...I would be shocked. The Browns are so undisciplined which was the difference in these teams that lack talent.

This is a bad, bad, bad bengals team that wont win a game until midseason or later.

I watched until it looked like the Bengals were going to be the typical Bengals and blow a big lead. I went grocery shopping instead. I could really care less about the NFL anymore. I watch when I can but don't make a life out of it anymore. I just still love to see the Bengals beat the Browns. You more than anyone know my reasons. :D

Observations from the game that I am sure has been talked about already
-The penalties were absurd, some were total bullshit, but most were deserved and stupid.
-The play calling on the goal line, when he threw to moore and then someone else was dumb. Run freaking Hilis.
-Hillis looked good, and should have been in more plays than he was. Too much Mo Hard, altho he looked decent.
-Cribbs was a jackass on that punt return, he turned back towards the middle of the field where Little was about to crush that guy. Take it to the outside!
-We have no wide outs except MoMass and maybe Little. Thank goodness we have 2 awesome tight ends.
-The defensive blow up was blamed on 2 people. 1 is Dick Jauron for not getting the play in, and 2 is on whoever the captain is (probly Fujita) who should have at least put them into some basic coverage to defend something. Contrary to popular beliefs by morons, Haden did not get burned on the play, no one was there. Haden stopped Green all day.
-The first quarter was complete garbage, I'm not sure who to blame, but it was horrendous. As was the entire 2nd half. Colt looked good at times, and lost at others.
-The 2 scoring drives looked great, but wtf happened after that? Shurmur seems to be over his head.
-Finally, I'm not sure I'm even looking forward to next week. This game was gross. If I had paid for my seats I would be even more pissed.
-Cleveland has 1 thing going for it, their beer is the 3rd cheapest per ounce in the league according to mens fitness (or some magazine). Still $7.25 for a 16oz though.

Edit to add: We ABSOLUTELY need a new punter. McGee is a total douche, and was even shanking punts in pregame. SIGN SOMEONE PLEASE!!!

Along with a new punter, they need to keep re-evaluating the OL.

While switching to Hicks at RT improved things for a while, eventually he was run over and just about got McCoy killed. If things don't improve, I can easily see McCoy so banged up by game 8 he can't play for at least several games.

Carolina, Seattle, Arizona, and San Francisco all are worse than either the Browns or Bengals, and maybe a few others that I'm not thinking of. I never understood the 0-16 talk with the Bengals when I felt Seattle and Carolina were both clearly worse than the Bengals.

But those teams each play 4 games against the other two, so somebody is going to be getting wins. I don't think any of them are worse either. Seattle might be just as bad.

predicting anywhere from 6-9 wins usually requires some losing along the way. yeah, today sucked but there's definitely room for improvement. and still 15 games left for it to be a successful season. congrats on the win btw - defense played really well.

Had a great weekend in Cleveland. We just happened to be walking by their hotel saturday night, and they were just coming in. I got pics of Haden, Hillis, Jaball, Colt, Moore, GOAT, Taylor, Hardesty, failbiskie, Dawson, and Fujita.

The whole weekend was ruined after that disgrace of a performance though. Im sure everyone covered all the fails of the game, but seriously, why the fuck is McGee our punter? We have a bad economy, people are jobless, and this idiot is getting paid at a minimum 250k to shank punts 70% of the time. There are plenty of guys dying to punt in the NFL, why not give them a try? McGee was shanking punts all preseason too. He is a complete joke, and helped spot the Bengals a quick 10-0 lead. I would have released him on the field. Fuck him.

What's your point? We still do love our team... Ever heard of tough love? We still will be supporting this team. Nice fail. Good to know Bengals fans will be around for at least 3 weeks this season though, congrats.
