Jim Rome gives props when they're due and criticizes when it's warranted.

I respect that.

no, I don't like his demeanor, he talks like he knows basketball and he doesn't, he points out obvious shit and downgrades people, I don't like haters, I think they are bitches and jealous

Yeah, I don't have a problem with either. Sure, they may be a little smug, but if everybody was buddy - buddy with everybody, sports talk would suck.

Miami is done. They have no more answers from a coaching perspective. Their 4th quarter defense is poor (lebron getting abused by terry). And lbj refuses to take a game over or at least keep people honest so wade can. I'm up for Miller over lbj in the 4th. If I'm going down its with people that have the heart and courage to put it all out there. Certainly not the coward formerly known as the king. Wade will have to literally have 2 of the most clutch performances in finals history. Even he has his limits.

I'm not counting Miami out... Not with Games 6 and 7 @ Miami..

Dallas better finish it off in 6, because if it goes 7 Miami wins.

Jim Rome got his name by completely disrespecting a professional athlete for no reason whatsoever and continuously verbally daring him to come across the table at him.

Wow, ESPN just showed the 4th quarter stats between LBJ and Dirk..

LeBron 11 points

Dirk 52 points

Dirk
13/27 FG's

LBJ
4/16 FG's

LeBron has only had 3 FT attempts in the 4th quarter of this series as well.

Lbj just doesn't get it and Wade knows it. He sees the millions of cracks and is just trying to muster enough greatness and help from other guys before lbj shatters into a millon pieces.

No matter the defense, LBJ is supposed to be the best player in the NBA. Great defenses never slowed MJ down.

Excuses are lame.

Yes, Dallas is playing good defense, but LBJ shouldn't be stopped 1-on-1 by J Kidd.

Miami had the 2nd best defense in the NBA and has played lights out this postseason, yet Dirk is getting his.

I think this is why he is struggling. I mean Lebron averages like 10 free throw a game, and the most he has had in these series is 4. I don't know why he doesn't try to draw some more fouls.

I remember the whole Jim/Chris Everett thing. Not one of Jim's finer moments. LOL However, I knew who he was prior to that and I enjoy listening to Rome's take on hot topics in sports.

As someone who isn't biased I generally can't stand Skip Bayless. He thinks he is a master debater and a legit bad ass. Just gets kind of annoying. Jim Rome annoys me too but in different ways. Jim thinks he is the coolest cat on the planet.

People counting Miami out of this are hilarious, and I'm praying that they lose.

It's a 2-3-2 setup, so they're supposed to be down 2-3. Getting another win in Miami is going to be tough, there is no way Dallas hits 13 threes again.

I think Dallas' coach has legitimately owned Miami's. It's awesome to watch.

Lebron has sucked a fat one thus far, but would anyone really be SHOCKED if he finished game six with like 44 points? It's not like he isn't capable. For whatever reason he is not performing but never be a fool and count him out, he is the best player in the world.

I pray Dallas wins game six, because I don't think they can win a game seven situation in Miami.

Abso-fricken-lutely. As I've said all week, Lebron chokes when it matters. He did it in Cleveland, and he's doing it for Miami. It's no secret, the guy is just lost when the pressure is on.

Agreed that Miami shouldn't be counted out. I disagree in that I think Dallas can take game 7. Too big of a spotlight for Lebron. He'll choke and even D-Wade's greatness won't be able to save him.

Sounds like Lebron DID improve though....2 points in the 4th quarter instead of 0?

He won't though because he's afraid of (and knows) his shitty free throw shooting will fail him. And he IS passive because he WON'T "take it to the rim."

Exactly

Thats what pisses me off about this series....a LOT of people discredited Dallas' and acted like with the talent Miami has should and will do what they want in this series. Thats not the case at all. The Mavs are a disciplined veteran team and its showing when it matters.

I said LONG before this series that Dallas was the team that could beat them and the nuthuggers (Lebron's) scoffed at it. I backtracked a tad when I saw that Miami had the home court but I feel Dallas still has a pretty good shot.

At this point, YES, YES...I would. His nuts have shriveled up inside him and he's given NOBODY a reason to believe that he'll do that. Every game we hear "he's capable of going off" and, unlike Delonte (with LBJ's mom) and Rashard (with LBJ's girl), he hasn't "risen to the occasion."

That term is undefinable. Your ignoring all of those games he won single-handedly while with the Cavaliers.

He did do this once:

I don't think he's choking. I believe he went to Miami to be a PG, that is what they sold him on.

Did anybody see that kid ask LeBron for a dollar before the game started?

He gave him 75 cents and told him he didn't have a 4th quarter
