He may not post up enough, but to say all he does is fire up bad shots is ignorant.

LeBron absolutely makes others around him better, that is one of his major strong points.

Al Bundy;794991 wrote:Who is he making better? DWade has always put up numbers. Bosh has had one of his worst offensive seasons ever. The others on the team hardly ever do much on the offensive side of the court. If you look back at the great players in the history of the game, they have been able to get the most out of role players to help with championships. LeBron doesn't have the leadership skills to get people to the next level.
And make no mistake about it...he REFUSES to do it. Mike Brown tried to get him to add this facet to his game.Hb31187;794993 wrote:Yeah theres really not a reason to not do it aside from the fact that he doesnt want to. Melo, Pierce, Durant from time to time all take the smaller defender to the post and either make them pay for it...or are in a better position to pass out from a double team and it helps the team immensely
Would work especially well this year because they dont have another big man to post up really. Bosh prefers the outside, and anthony is strictly for defense and rebounding

And Lebron is stronger than Durant and weighs more than Melo and might be a little taller. So i raelly dunno why he doesnt get his big ass down there
BR1986FB;795021 wrote:That's basically all he's missing. That and improved free throw shooting. Jordan & Kobe worked on areas of their game to make them unstoppable. You'd think he'd be smart enough to try to develop it at a young age.
robj55;795026 wrote: As for Kobe, I don't care what anyone says, he patterned his game after Jordan and tried to be like him.
He did play poorly last night, but you're right in the fact that the haters only remember games like last night. We didn't see anyone posting about him during the philly, boston or chicago series' and I know that was eating them up. That's the society we live in, MF'ers love to hate on people and hate to see them succeed. I would kill to be as good at ANYTHING in life as Lebron is in basketball, and the same can be said for the rest of the OC i'm sure.karen lotz;795025 wrote:And I'm not trying to defend LeBron for last night's performance. I said during the game he was disinterested. He played absolutely HORRIBLE, especially for someone of his caliber. But for Bundy or others to completely discredit what he has done in the past or what he is capable of based on last night and Boston game 5 is just dumb. There is no way you can say he doesn't make teammates better. He wasn't assertive last night and part of it goes to Dallas doubling him either on pick and rolls or on the catch on the times he did try to post up Kidd or Terry. A lot of it goes on LeBron too, no doubt.
