Next year marks the 75th Anniversary of the OHSAA State Wrestling Tournament. One of things I have been asked to help with, is to try to find the oldest living state qualifier.

If anyone has any information on any wrestlers that may have participated in the State Tournament form 1945 or before, can you please e-mail me any information you may have on them (how they did in the tournament, where they might be living, a way to contact them or their family, etc...).

Thanks-

Seven whole years huh? That would make the oldest living state qualifier (assuming they were a senior and aged 18 at the time) a whopping 25 years old!

Mike Milkovich a former state champion in 1941 at 145 lbs. If the state tournament started in '38, did he wrestle earlier?

Mike is still alive, living in Key West, and doing well I hope. Check with the current Milkovich coaches in the area.
