The Midshipmen and the Black Knights square off on February 19th at West Point.

Navy leads this rivalry on the mat all time at 44-5-5

The Midshipmen are currently ranked by Intermat at 37th in the country and are led by Senior Captain and NCAA All American Bryce Saddoris, ranked 9th in the nation and Junior Luke Rebertus ranked 11th in the nation

Navy is coached by Bruce Burnett in his 11th year and was the former US Olympic freestyle Coach.

Army is not ranked as a team and is led by Casey Thome and Daniel Young.

The Black Nights are coached by first year Head Coach Joe Heskett who was formerly an assistant under Tom Ryan at The Ohio State University.

Both teams recently competed in the All Academy Championship at the Citadel in South Carolina. These are the final results.

Navy 117.5
Citadel 86.5
Army 82.5
Air Force 64
Merchant Marine 36.5
VMI 22.5
Coast Guard 3.5
Norwich 1.5

Keep in mind that Navy is a better dual team than tournament team, as shown by their recent beating of 12th ranked Lehigh shortly after their win over #1 ranked Cornell. :)

The Pickerington kid is going to be a nice addition to the roster. Maybe take Saddoris' spot next year!!!

The Mids already have a couple Ohio boys on their roster.

No problem zambrown. We'd sure like to be there but I can't for the life of me set foot on that God forsaken ground that the Whoops call an educational institution!!! ....plus the Sectional Tournament is that day and we can't miss that!

the banter has been gone on long before you and me. It's OK..a squid can squat with me any time..in fact at my VFW..we kind of band together against all the Air Bags!

An Army guy and a Navy guy found themselves in a public restroom. As the Army guy was walking out, the Navy guy said, while washing his hands,
"In the Navy, they teach us to wash our hands before leaving the restroom." Then the Army guy replied,
"Well, in the Army, they teach us not to pee on our hands!"

Indeed it has de oppressor. I don't want to mislead you, however I am not nor was I ever a "squid". I leave that to the intelligent men! I agree that we can join together in our fun at the expense of those lead wings they put on the uniforms of those guys in Colorado Springs.
