Always enjoy this tournament and the way they set it up. Anyone know of what teams are attending? With the new date, I'm sure it looks a little different.

Curious myself KP.
Love the indy tourney then the team dual championship.
Not sure how they are going to get this in on a Fri night tho?

Yes JrH.
In the past they ran 2 8 man brackets with the top 8 seeded kids in the top bracket being the official indy tourney result.
Then they totaled all the points and ran top 4 dual tourney brackets 1 vs 4 2 vs 3 for the team title. The other teams that didnt make the top 4 were placed in other brackets 5vs 8 ect.
Every kid got 5 matches and there were indy champs and team champs.
Always my favorite tourney of the yr. Doesnt hurt that it is on the beautiful NA campus. Is there a nicer school in Ohio?

Not sure how they are going to be able to do this format being on a Fri night???

I was looking more for the high school tournament which is Saturday. It used to be in December but got moved this year.

So I guess thats why they moved the JrH to Fri.
They used to have a JV tourney Fri.
I guess it makes sense.
Still would like to know the format for the JrH.

Thoughts? What teams will be attending this tournament? I kind of dont like the format of this tournament but usually this tournament has lots of competition and good teams there.

Rarely do you see a 8 man bracket with only the best kids. All three matches are close and hard fought. No first round fluff. Great match ups right out of the gate. The idea of kids of equal ability wrestling each other is outstanding. The average kids have their own bracket. Then when you are through with that a dual team tournament breaks out.

New Albany does a great job running this tournament. A lot of hard work is involved making sure things go smoothly. They really get the job done.

I agree. This is a good tournament and always ran well. Does anyone have info on what teams are attending? I'm sure its different than in the past since it is at a different point in the season.
