This will be a huge move for Chicago as it gives them a power hitting left hander which is something that has been needed for a long time.

This will also likely be the end of Paul Konerko's time in Chicago as they could only sign 2 of 3 out of Buehrle, Konerko and Dunn.

Also today Bobby Jenks is no longer with the team as he was non tendered. The closer job now looks like it belongs to Matt Thornton.

Big, big day for the White Sox as they appear to be making the first splash of the free agency period.

I would pay Adam Dunn $56 million to put a 9mm to his head, but certainly not to play baseball.

Uh....

Anyway, yeah the White Sox get a bargain here as thats only about 8 bucks per strikeout.

As a White Sox fan I like the move. I think you may see Konerko take a pay cut and stay with the team.
