Things are wide open this year. One thing to remember or to take into perspective is that Mifflin is going to be tough. They may not have a great dual team, but they will score in tournaments. Same thing goes for Centennial and Ridge. they have guys that will be in the finals. The city tourney will be determined by advancement points to the finals. It should be pretty fun!
Just from my side of things:
*HWT will be one of the better weights at the city this year with many kids that have placed or won a tournament so far.
*135-140 has potential to be a great weight class based on where guys end up for the tournament and what coaches decide for kids at sectional time.
* Briggs has some tough kids this year, 112 especially. He could be meeting up with the kid from West that won the city last year at 103.
* 119 should be pretty tough with The returning champ from Northland and a few other tough kids.
* Grades and injuries will play a part in the Championship this year as they have every year.
the briggs 112 has already wrestled the kid from west at the whitehall duals. the briggs kid won by pin in the first period.
