Only after Joesph hung up his carpenter's apron and became a white collar worker at Smucker's.

Lets make no bones about it. My preference would be to live in Orrville and My children to be Red Riders, But The alternative was a divorce and my children would still be Generals. Loose Loose situation for me.

That would be correct. I'm in the process of developing an Orr/Woo combo Avatar.

I'm truly starting to find the whole decision annoying. I say you just sit in the parking lot and listen to the game on the radio.

Mr. CCRolly, Sorry to hear the fact that you apparently have issues with the fact that I'm PROUD of my children who have the misfortune of being stuck playing Wooster Football, and the fact that I am also PROUD of being from a tradition rich High School. I can only assume (we all now what happens there) that by your pompous *** statement and bad attitude towards a fellow citizen you must either be a Wooster City Official or be a member of this school board. Or you are actually a Genoa fan in disguise.

The people on here know my feelings about the coaching staff (mostly McCreary) at Wooster. I don't get how you'd root against your kid's school though. If you hate it that much, there is always available housing in Orrville from what I hear. The Red Rider posters on here know I'm not from Genoa, and they also know that I support them the other 9 weeks of the regular season and come playoff time. But come Week 10 I will be there supporting the Generals, and that will never change...not by a woman, questionable head coaching, or a truly lackluster fan base. God forbid I marry a woman from Orrville (just joking), but if it happened I would support my kids school regardless. I can also assure you that I'm neither a Wooster city official or a member of the school board. I'm sure if we talked more, you and I would share a lot of views on the current state of the football program. In fact, I've enjoyed the fullback move-in and going to the I-formation in short yardage now. Although we may need to mix up the one or two plays we always seem to call out of that formation. I also wasn't trying to be as harsh with my comment as it may have sounded at first. A lot of that was meant tongue in cheek. You can feel free to take it however you want though. With that said, lets hope the Generals arrive in Millersburg with a nasty taste in their mouths tomorrow. Go Woo!

Old Rider;526985 wrote:Skank...those are some classic posts. Out of nowhere, you come on this thread and start talking trash? Whats up with that? What has Orrville done to you?...other than give you your best QB in school history!....but still couldnt get it done> that state championship I mean!!!

Poor little PUSSY CATS...i mean tigers! ..and now the state is taking the title games from you! I'm so sorry to hear that!

Out of nowhere? On the Massillon/Steubenville thread one of Orrville's posters said something along the lines of Massillon will win with the help of the hometown officials, So I remarked on an Orrville thread about how Orrville use to give the ole hose job to NW and Manchester in the 80s. I turned out to be the bad guy. I've seen this for years, people talking smack about the Tigers, but when you respond, all of a sudden, your the A hole. Second, the boring remark was made in a joking manner towards 4ringz, ya'll are the ones who turned it in to this. Now, if YOU would like to play in a division where most of the schools you play once you reach the final 4 have twice the amount of boys you do, just sign up. Zwick was good, no question, but if I had to take a QB from Massillon in this past decade, I'd take Matt Martin over Zwick. I aslo wonder why when Zwick got to OSU he requested to have his hometown be known as Massillon? Could it be because you guys vandalized his home, knocked over his parents mailbox numerous times, turfed his parents lawn? Heck, maybe that's why he left.

thePITman;527204 wrote:Does Orrville have more state championships trophies than Massillon? I have a question. When you are just appointed the state championship, do you receive a trophy? Or just a banner? Or neither and you just made the banner yourself? Cuz we didn't get any kind of trophy for winning the AP Poll in basketball two years in a row. lol

When I met you, you seemed like an intelligent young man, guess I was wrong. Orrville....Wooster....Triway, you're all welcome to call our AD and set something up, I believe we have some open dates on our upcoming schedules....We'll be waiting for your calls.

You've all been skanked thanks to the Orrville Rocket Scientist who had to make derogatory comments on a Massillon thread, Ya'll can thank him. I tried to get this thread back on track a while ago, so I'll stay away now....But, I WILL be watching, don't make me have to return.

Rolly might be the ultimate cynic in regards to his team but I would never question his loyalty. I think he sees the apathy surrounding the team, and that disappointments him.

Rolly, No disrespect by any means. I don't ever remember posting I was routing against Wooster. Check out the avatar. It is all blue and gold to this point. I support the Wooster Generals both emotionally and financially. I agree with you 100 percent about the coaching staff. not just at the varsity level. Its at the 3 levels in the high school. Our paths have crossed before on that PAYSITE. When I reach my 15 post limit I will be PMing you. I am fully aware of the playoff implications this game has for Wooster. Also as an Orrville Alum, how in the world could i not like to see them get the win in #100.

Most Smuckers employees live in the Wadsworth, Akron, Medina, and Copley/Fairlawn areas. I'm one of the very, very few from Wooster, but there are a few more from Orrville. But most come from the North, from my experiences. It's weird.

LoL! Don't take my quote personal. Massillon obviously has won no state championships, as everyone knows, and I thought it was a funny joke. And by RR1's follow-up, I think he did, too! ;) Massillon would not agree to schedule us in high school. And if they did, we'd get our butt whooped. But we do play them in junior high every year, I believe.

We did too at Orrville. Played Longfellow at PBTS in 7th grade. Their RB has a mustache...no lie. I hear the middle school has it's own student parking lot. No wonder they're good.

If I'm not mistaken, which is entirely possible. Edgewood played Massillon this year (7th and 8th) in B squad games.
