I still think Moreno is better than Maroney, but Maroney can be good when he's healthy and doesn't dance too much.

He hasn't been AWESOME in the NFL, but he's usually good for 800 yards and 6 TDs.

Why would the Patriots part with him for nothing?

4th round pick isnt nothing. In fact it is way more valuable than Maroney at this point which is why they probably had to throw in the 6th rounder as well.

Didn't he have a pretty solid year last year? Not spectacular, but somewhat productive? I just don't like when teams trade a player for a draft pick a year away. It's one thing to trade right before the draft, but they have to wait a year just to get something in return.

In other NFL news, Kris Jenkins, Ryan Grant, and Bob Sanders are out for the year (though Sanders being out for the year is hardly news anymore).

Anymore, mid-round picks are far more valuable than players like Maroney that are always banged up and in the coach's dog house. This is a good career move for him getting away from the Pats and B.B.

You're right, Maroney will probably get a bunch or goal line carries and steal TDs from Moreno. Definitely don't like this.

Moreno sucks, he is Kenny Irons part 2. Marooney is the far more talented player but can't stay healthy.

Unfortunately, I think it's time for Sanders to retire. The way he plays, he'll never be healthy again.
